I remember meeting Jason and the Letlive boys during their Fake History tour. We hung out behind the venue, The Electric Theatre, in my small Southern Utah town of St. George. These guys helped me understand myself as a teen and gave me inspiration to rise above the bad hands I had been dealt in life. They showed me the meaning of true passion, and what it means to carve your own path. Thank you, Letlive.

I met them on the same tour broski! I'm in PA and this was at the Championship in Lemoyne, but I literally had the same exact experience with them. A true class act. At the end of my band's set they tore down all of our gear for us. We didn't have to lift a finger. Just to be nice to a young local act.

I saw Letlive opening for Rise Against at the Showbox in Seattle. One of the best shows I have ever seen. The energy was absolutely amazing. Afterwards, I picked up a few Letlive LPs and walked out onto the street, feeling slightly light-headed from excitement and lack of oxygen. As I stepped onto the sidewalk in front on the venue, I locked eyes with someone familiar. Clumsy as I am, and dizzy as I was, I failed to see the step in from of my feet and wiped out right in front of a man who ran over and with great concern made sure I was alright. Thank you Jason Butler, it was very nice to meet you. PS: I was okay, and nothing got bruised other than my self-confidence.

Lyrics: Rest easily, In the bed of another man's tired old queen. I cannot wait for love If it comes as fast as he did. Rest easily, In the bed of another man's tired old queen. I cannot wait for love If it comes as fast as he did, well, shit That's two minutes well-spent That she spent with him So stay home In bed alone All because of you, all because of you, Now I can't stand it. In all that I do, all that I do, I see the scarlet branding. Mother, you know I'm sorry, But sorry's pregnant with remorse And when remorse is born, remorse won't see An ounce of child support. She won't, no, she won't no, she won't. She won't She Go ahead No wait Wait Ok go ahead Wait eagerly, Because tonight I'm another man's brand new queen Why should I wait for love, If it comes as fast as he did? He said, "Wait, she's with me So send that other man walking With his two left feet" Now I hate my love And now the other man's floating in the dead man's sea And he's floating face-down, 'cause he's a dead man, see? So stay home In bed alone All because of you, all because of you, Now I can't stand it. In all that I do, all that I do, I see the scarlet branding. Mother, you know I'm sorry, But sorry's pregnant with remorse And when remorse is born, remorse won't see An ounce of child support. She won't, no, she won't, no No, she will not. Don't you cry mama, we'll, We'll be okay.

Its so sad to see what has happened to Jason since these days. The guy was my hero, never was friends with someone in a band this big before. Dude even gave me his phone number. His lyrics and behavior inspired me to be a better person. And now hes pushing the devils propaganda, singing about rioting and arson :( Wouldnt be surprised if he sold his soul once he met Travis, for some radio play. Thats prob why letlive broke up. In any case, listening to their stuff, especially this song, brings me back to almost a decade ago now. Things were simpler, I was fresh out of HS. Had my whole life ahead of me. Ill always be grateful for the good memories he gave me. Met him at Metallica's Orion fest and it was the best part of the day. From hanging out on FH tour, at warped, watching them rehearse at my local school of rock when their tour bus broke down, to taking a greyhound to baltimore to catch em on their final us tour(Where I caught one of Loniel's drumsticks!) Its a massive shame they're done! IITD was their best work, too. LL will always be ll.egendary
