I have been using Epos H6Pro Open with Dekoni Earpadz Jerzee as well, definitely more comfortable and like you said, the sound profile wasn't massively impacted. Love the measurements you show that confirms my experience with the pad swap.

Hey how do the Jerzee pads impact the isolation of outside noise? Would be cool if they would make the H6Pro feel a bit more true open back!
@AssassinKID10 ай бұрын
@@Gulliott To me the isolation is similar to stock pads, very slightly more isolated due to the gel material inside the Jerzee pads (instead of a block of foam in the stock pads). I think if you like the drivers inside the H6Pro, PC38X uses the same ones, but very open and to my ears is a lot more suited for music listening than the H6Pro or GSP500 (also uses the same drivers). Only downside to PC38X are plastic build quality, and non-removable mic is worse (picks up more plosives).
@Gulliott10 ай бұрын
Thanks for the reply! I once tested the PC38x and while they do sound great, I feel like they lack a bit of ‚fun‘ in their sound profile for gaming (I have a pair of beyerdynamics for music so I’m looking for a pair just for gaming). What is great about the PC38x though is that you can hear yourself well while talking to friends, whether the stock H6Pro (open) pads do muffle your voice in comparison, and I find myself shouting at the end of the night.. was hoping the Jerzee pads would help with that :(

A feedback from someone that just replaced the original pads of a closed-back H6pro with the Wicked Cushions freeze pads: - Pros: Thousand times more comfortable and seems to get less warm than the original ones. The gel feeling is pretty good, feels like very premium-quality product for sure. - Cons: There is some loss in noise cancelling, meaning you can hear more stuff from the "outside world", you don´t get that feeling of "total vacuum" in your ears when you put the headphones which I used to get with the original pads. The bass strength has increased a bit, but not sure if it has the same deep bass quality as before, still undecided if this is con or pro... while getting used to this new audio profile it feels like a con. People around you can hear the audio coming out of your headphone a bit more than when using the original pads... which is expected as a side effect of not canceling noise as efficiently as the original ones. Overall, if you really need to replace the original pads for the closed-back version of H6Pro, the WC freeze might be the best option on the market. It is a 10/10 for comfort and 7/10 for audio profile.

I have both H6PRO Open and Closed headsets in racing green. When I put WC Freeze earpads on the open, I didn't like the feel or the sound. I actually prefer the OEM ear pads for the open back and will put my WC's on the closed. They're great ear pads and cooling feel while gaming is great. I stuck with the basic black, because I think it goes well with the green & gold colors.

Hello, i have a question. I just bought these headsets open version from SH, because in my country i don't find these on any official store. I have a problem and i dont know why, when i listen music on my phone or pc, from KZbin or Spotify etc, when i turn volume near to the max, it's just sound like somehow distorted, like the bass are affecting the whole song and the mids i think. This are happening on the bass heavy song, like ex: pax - touch me, on the beginning, i have trouble at the max volume. When i listen on my earbuds from Samsung i don't have this problem, and this buds are tunned for bass heavy. Are my cans defective or what? Can i do something to repair this problem like switch the pads to wicked? Or better i will try to find another headset.. P.S. I tried already to push the cable as much as i can into the cans but nothing happened...
