@@craftsmantv7205may I pick your brain on epoxy projects? First time doing this. Do I have to fully season the maple and oak rounds I cut before I seal them? Or green wood is fine?
@craftsmantv72052 ай бұрын
The wood needs to be fully dried before starting epoxy to avoid moisture.

Excellent viewing, wish there was more audio…understand why not. Curious…after 1st. Run, putting small risers for islands and opening the river slightly? Also, after the stand build w/ the translucent bottom, did you cover the bottom w/ anything?👍

Im sorry..the audio was muted due to copyright claim.anyway the bottom of the table,i poured a first layer of resin withe pigment blue.i did not put anything😊Thankyou ❤️
@sasanovakovic37868 ай бұрын
After pouring the last layer of resin in the mold, you took out the table, polished it and poured another layer even though it was transparent and beautiful. Why? And was that topcoat pure resin or did you mix it with a hardener? I think that you are the only one who made it in this way, because everyone pours the resin lower than the board, then flattens it on a CNC machine, sands it, etc.

Oh, now I see it. 19:44 you can see a line that tape left. So part of the side of the table was not covered in resin and you see thin line there.
