I watch resin artist all the time that do these constantly. I must say your colors and placement of colors. Then the alcohol inks you added the red looks like little red roses and the purple too.BOTH are truly BETTER than any I've seen! Both that you done are absolutely gorgeous! But please Helen if you do any more please please please wear a respirator so you don't stop breathing due to the resin!

Hi Helen what a lovely project and it turned out beautiful. Also no your not the only one that forgets things , I do and i'm sure a lot of people do. Here in my part of Ireland we are in lock down again and as I've got Asthma i'm not allowed out so my son gets things for me. One of my friends and her daughter have got the virus and she is nearly 80 with heart problems, so i'm praying for them. Please God it will all get back to normal soon, I miss my friends at the Art Club. You take care and stay well Helen God Bless

So, so beautiful Helen. You know what you could do in the Spring...pick some leaves and small flower heads and mix them into your resin sculptures, I think it would look lovely for Summer. I am thankful for you showing us how to create so many wonderful projects. God bless you.

If you want to put ant type of plant material in resin it has to be throughly dry or it will ruin the resin and the heat generated as the resin cures will ruin the flowers. You can put dried flowers in with no problem. Pressed flowers are great for flat pieces but if you are wanting something more 3d, I recomend using silica sand. It drys out the flowers without the color changing and keeps it's shape. I'm a resin artist from Oregon.

It turned out beautiful. When the weather gets warm and you work with resin your timing of everything will happen much faster, Resin gets hard faster when it is warm. I live in the Philippines where it is hot and my resin gets hard faster than it is supposed to.
