Epoxy Resin gone wrong...

I tried to make a Donkey Kong Country Diorama with Enguarde, in form of a fish tank. But sadly I made some really bad mistakes with the epoxy resin and it was a complete fail.
In this video I go trough all the things I wanted to do, why the epoxy cast failed and what I am going to do next time, to avoid another mistake like this.

Schade das es nicht geklappt hat! Hab bei meinem ersten Epoxy Versuch auch richtig gefailt: wollte ein Fluss auf ein selbstgemachtes Terrain Board machen und habe viel zu viel Farbe in den Mix gepackt UND die Luftblasen nicht beachtet. Zuerst sah es richtig gut aus aber als es dann trocken war, war es viel zu dunkel und die Blasen haben richtig genervt. Die Mini ansich und auch das Logo bei deinem Diorama sehen aber dafür richtig fett aus!!! Habe DK Country 2 auf dem SNES früher richtig gesuchtet und meine Schwester war sogar besser als ich, was mich damals immer richtig genervt hat :D

Ja, mit Epoxy ist es immer so eine Sache, entweder wird es richtig gut oder eine Katastrophe :D Der beste Weg um Blasen herauszubekommen ist... erst gar keine rein zu mischen xD Alles andere wird schwer ohne Unterdruckkammer! Ich hab den ersten DKC Teil tatsächlich häufiger gespielt als den zweiten (obwohl er ja der Beste sein soll), welches ist dein Favorit? Ist keine Schande wenn jemand besser ist, das Spiel ist selbst für heutige Verhältnisse verflucht schwer :D Danke nochmal für deinen netten Kommentar, nicht nur hier! Weiß ich wirklich zu schätzen, gerade bei den uralten Videos!

@@MiniQuest64 hab tatsächlich viele deiner Videos nacheinander durchgeschaut weil wir glaub ich so ziemlich den gleichen Geschmack haben 😅 und die Videos einfach richtig gut gemacht sind 👌 Den ersten DKC hatte nur ein Kollege von mir, deshalb hab ich den nur ab und zu mal gespielt wenn ich bei ihm war. Glaube beim 2. Teil überwiegen einfach die Nostalgie-Gefühle bei mir :D

Ahh ja Spiele ausleihen und durchsuchten war echt so ein Ding damals, deswegen kannten die ganzen Kids auch meist die ersten Level eines Spiels in und auswendig :D Danke nochmal mein lieber!

Jo voller Frust,wenn es nicht klappt wie man will. Man lernt aus jedem Fehler auch wenn es aua macht. Schön das du es zeigst,so wissen wir das wir mit Misserfolgen nicht alleine sind.
