Thank you, your cup is beautiful. I am transferring from epoxy and starting out this new journey. I just ordered the kit from Crystalac. I was wondering how difficult it is to strip the cup if you don't like it. I know epoxy is a bear to strip. It's a long process to make a cup, however, when I think about the difficulty I have w/epoxy and sanding/coating/stripping it really isn't that long. I'm glad I found your site, you're a good teacher. Thank you 😊

Aww your so kind, It really isn't that hard, if you really have to strip a cup and it has had product on it for say a few days, you can use that Citristrip Gel, coat it really goodm wrap it in foil and just leave it for I think it is about a day. and then it should come clean. Spray seal just keeps the glitter from moving around while you out on your top coat. If you want it to last you will need to top coat really well.

No..these are non toxic, epoxy free top coats, however when you are spraying it or sanding a mask is recommended

Actually I not longer use mod padge, I use glitter glue from CrystaLac. However the ratio is about 90 modpodge to 10 e6000

I have not had any glitter come off my cups in second coats. Make sure you allow it to dry between coats, only need to wait 2 hours if you are using Glitter glue from Crystalac

Mod padge will work fine you just have to allow it to dry longer I prefer over night, CrystaLac does have distributors I believe in the UK.

Can you use alcohol pads instead of alcohol and cotton pads to clean before you paint it? And if I opted to not use e6000 to seal it before I use BT, any other recommendations? Trying to avoid spraying anything that has harsh chemicals. Can I pat down the glitter instead?

yes you can defiantly use the alcohol pads and you can seal with Glitter Glue even. When I made this video they did not have glitter glue,

this method goes much faster then crystalac video . they dont use mod podge. they say it doesnt dry but i also know they sell their own glitter glue . so go fig.

I have used mod before the crystalac itter glue came out. Mod pidge take a long time to dry, Glitter glue only takes 2 to 4 hours

Yes you sand them really well, wash, dry, wipe off with alcohol, you can either spray paint or paint with the Universal White from CrystaLac.

Try to smooth out the best you can, however you may need to apply a second coat if glitter
