Rice is the most common staple food in Nigeria today. An average Nigerian eats rice 5 days in a week. This makes the Local production of rice imperative for food security amongst other indices. Tonight, the programme will focus on the potentials of Nigeria in rice production and the policy direction of government towards actualizing this goal.
