This is what is called ecological rice quite unlike Uncle Bens or Jasmin or Basmati or so-called Thai rice with some preservatives and expiry date. Original taste comes from this type of rice. It's a vintage and premium quality rice! Well-done for shooting the video! It actually gave good PR and marketing for our national rice produce ....

Educative video 💪🏿Sometimes I just wish I was the President of Nigeria so that I can change Nigeria. So many people working so hard but don’t have enough money to put food on their tables. God bless the elders for staying strong regardless 😓❤️

Yes, pray for a president that can make a difference. However, keep in mind the Bible says the poor will always be among us and, although they are poor financially, I see they are rich in spirit. I love how regardless of their circumstances they always smile and laugh. The love of God radiates through them in these videos and help make my day/night.

Good afternoon David, this was a very interesting video, I never knew how rice was processed. I don’t know how they do in the US, maybe it’s quite similar, my thing is this the rice is not processed in a sterile environment. Therefore the product is dirty and may contain pathogens of some sort? And why would they throw the rice in such a dirty place the poor people to sort through it? Why not just have a food program that promotes clean sustainability food sources for the poor!! Your doing great work and I look forward to your coming videos!

I love what this brother is doing so much. I can't wait to see more of this. Wow, so this is how rice is milled? No wonder we will cook some rice in Lagos and before you say, Jack Robinson, the rice has turned to poridge, Lol, this has made me shift to Basmat rice since. Honestly, some of the rice will look so fine, and white and once gets into the hot water, it has turned to tuwoshinkaffi. Hahaha. Abakaliki grade A rice is the solution now. I will try and see. God bless you more. Brother looking forward to more documentary-like this.

Basmati is tricky to cook if you don't know how to go about it. You should first soak it in cold water before cooking , then boil with cold water and little oil. Remove from fire before completely done then cover with foil to finish cooking in its own heat.Local rice consumption has to be encouraged.
