I don't care what anybody says Jem was the best cartoon of the 80s! You can call me Goofy if you want! This was the first TV show ever to have a soundtrack! It was ahead of its time. Where do you think Empire, Star and Destiny's Child came from? Think about it. It's the exact same premise. A woman becomes a singer in this in the 70s (Beyonce's mom) has two children her parents adopt her best friend she and her sister along with said friend form a singing group and take over the world. Later on, Beyonce's life mirrors the show. It's crazy how she gets a car that is the exact replica of the Rockin Roadster. If that isn't life imitating art, I don't know what it is! Somebody tell me that I'm wrong!

Since you insist, yeah you're goofy if you think this cartoon was the best of the 80's. G.I. Joe, Transformers, The Gummi Bears, Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Care Bears, The Snorks; all outlasted Jem by years with Danger Mouse being on the air 1981-1992, that's 11 years! By the way, Jem wasn't the first cartoon to release a complete soundtrack. That accreditation goes to Yogi Bear, "Hey There, It's Yogi!" It was released in 1964 by Colpix Records, with vocalized songs as well as an added bonus of instrumentals! Another thing. Leave Beyonce's illuminati, uneducated, overrated, self out of the equation. She did not take "over the world", maybe your's. There are thousands of others who would sing circles around her. She could never touch Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, or Mariah Carey; and she will never compare to the accomplishments of Prince and definitely not Micheal Jackson. We all know that fanbase that she "caters" to, so you'd probably want to buzz on back to the "Beyhive."🍻😂

I'm glad they addressed it realistically, with the producer stuck settling their lawsuits after staking his reputation on them, but frankly they're just begging for criminal charges that can't be settled with money

This cartoon and certainly it’s soundtrack is so memorable and reminds me so much of 1986. I just get the warm feelings of being a kid again,.. something that I totally took for granted back then. The life of an 80s kid was very simple .

This is still one of my favorite cartoons. I watched it before school and when it came on at different times. When I met Samantha Newark, who voiced Jem. It was a moment I'll never forget. She was such a delight. I wanted to tell her the live movie sucked. But, I decided it wasn't important. I'm glad to have these episodes on 📀.

There was 3 versions of this episode: the super Sunday version, the movie version and the remastered version. This one is the remastered version. It’s hard to find the super Sunday version of this episode and also, episodes 3-5

Pay attention to their hair color, wardrobe, face. To me, Pizzazz has like a longer face with a square chin. Roxy's face is more round.

I don't like the ransom singing in this show. I do however have to point out the story continuity & attention to detail in this. I love the fact they followed up on something as little as the Money Jar. She tried to steal the money Jar in the 1st episode so her punishment was getting $30 for it now. Then the house burnt down, so you would think they would say yeah the $30 doesn't matter etc. She's showing off saying look I saved the jar. The Girls wouldn't have it & still said you need to raise $30. The 2nd episode they actually followed that through with her. I like the fact they kept this jar thing going & she asked for $30 from the misfits. They don't even do this type of things when you watch adult shows. This is a show for kids. Usually kid shows make 0 to no sense.

I loved that too but hate how they treated Ashley in the first season. She wanted to be accepted and was often excluded from the other girls. Another detail: if she didn't let the misfits enter the mansion, Eric Raymond wouldn't have told them about the bomb. The misfits being there saved their lives.
