@@thehappyazshop520 great question: this IS normal. The machine has such a minimal maintenance schedule for the user thanks to internal automations such as circulations/cleanings. The machine being able to perform these on it's own as needed eliminates the need for regular attention from the operator = less down time!

hey, man, we are trying to set up the model f2200 epson and got stuck at the loading ink step, basically what is not clear is the label wh/cl, what does the cl stand for? do we need a different cl ink?

Hello, it sounds like you're almost there! The white ink slots can also be loaded with cleaning liquid packs (CL). These are also used for long term storage mode but for production you will install the white inks into those spots.

Hey there! Honestly, it's not a fair fight putting an Epson printer against almost any other machine as far as maintenance is concerned. While all machines have their pros/cons one of the main selling points of this printer is the lowest amount of attention needed

@AAPrintSupplyCo Agreed. I'm leaning towards Epson because of the maintenance honestly. How's the maintenance on Epson F1070 compared to F2270 and Prestige series? Can I go on vacation for a month? lol... DTF Prestige A4/R2 would've been great if they were a bit more vacation friendly 😄

@@LoneBagels The Epson F1070 and F2270 will have the same maintenance schedule: shake the white inks before printing with no further daily attention and once a week clean the capping station (takes about 2 minutes). @@LoneBagels aside from the daily outlined steps in the Prestige video, on an as needed basis, we will also want to clean the encoder strip of any ink overspray and apply grease to the rail for the printhead. This frequency will depend on usage and should be done at least once a month. Vacation prep can be done fairly quickly on the Prestige machines also!

Hello there, the F2270 does NOT come with a cable to connect to the computer you will need a printer usb cable that will have the square printer plug one side

Hey there, hope all is well with you as well. If we are referring to the pretreat or ink they should be dried with a heat press. I like to run my press between 335 to 350 F and press at the following times (medium pressure): pretreat - 35 seconds CMYK ink only - 35 seconds CMYK + white ink - 1 minute What was your garment still wet with?

I just looked at the unboxing video. Look imma be honest to get this bad boy into I’m office I would have put it on it side. Is that safe to do to get it in door way?

Great question and honestly this will be the case with many standard sized doors-the short is answer is YES, it is safe. To do this properly, the touch screen side must be the top side when turned sideways (Epson logo bottom side). This will prevent the print head from moving accidentally while flipped vertical.

@@AAPrintSupplyCo thank you I just took a screenshot I’ll be reaching out soon. One question I do have tho, is there an ideal room temp the printer always needs to be in? I’m Northern California humidity isn’t an issue, but it does get hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

@@51075BIGRIGG you got it! As far as temperature to keep the printer comfortable and performing at it's best we advise a climate controlled environment between 60-80F. Overheating can be an issue with ANY electronics and the printer will display a high heat warning if prolonged use above 80F and may pause production until the temperature drops to prevent any internal damage.
