Epson Artisan 1430 printer $10 Waste tank installation (converting to dtf part 1)

In this video I show how to install a custom waste tank on an epson 1430 printer. The supplies listed below is what I used *or should have used*. The entire install took about 15 mins.
Supplies needed:
•Flat head screw driver
•Drill and Drill Bit
•Airline tubing ( mine is 8ft but you can cut it)

My hose is so tiny coming from the l1800 I can't find an extension to fit it. Anyway I could change the original hose.

Thanks for the video - needing to do this exact thing as I got an error message that the life of my tank or whatever was coming to an end - did you not need to change out the sponge or whatever is inside of it?

hey, sorry for the late reply, no I didn't change out the sponges, i did an ink pad reset. theres a few videos on here explaining it. type in epson inkpad reset. it was like $9-10

What’s best software for dtf printing? Where can I purchase it?

So I use acrorip 9, the seller I got it from canceled their listing. But I’m sure there’s KZbin videos for a free download. Depending on what type of printer you have, that will determine which program is compatible. But if you have a newer printer you most likely need to use acrorip 10 and above which is about $400, Dtf kingdom has it on their site
