Mine is great. The maintenance isn't too bad I just print one of them purge printer files every few days . And if I'm on vacation away from home you can set Gmail to automatically send prints to the printer. Other then that and the odd print head test I've never had any clogged heads and it's been two years now. 🤞🏻😃

Roger, you noted not to let the ink tanks get empty. Since I have "regular" ink in the tanks and want to use this strictly for sublimation,; is there a way to drain the tanks to then fill with the Hippoo ink?

Yes, but it is very messy. You would need to open the printer, disconnect each color line, suck out the existing ink with a syringe from both the main tank and damper tank. Then, reassemble, fill tanks with new sublimation ink, then do a Power Clean. That should purge all the old ink. NOT a simple process, but possible.

@@rogersshop just an fyi. i remembered that I had several tubing sets that had connectors which were likely to fit the fill nozzles. Cut to length and installed on the nozzles, I upended the printer and let gravity help drain the tanks. Absolutely no mess.

I have tried all of the hacks to get this printer to print dtf film and it just will not work. The film goes through and it says paper jam but it’s not a paper jam. Help!!!!

I don't use DTF so can't be of any help although from my previous understanding, this is not a DTF printer.

Looking around your shop, is there a machine you don’t have? Here I thought you were a wood working laser guy. The only thing I haven’t seen is an embroidery machine. And plants too? How many hours in your day? I assume you have some hidden employees.

Used to have full time employees, but now just a couple part time in spring/summer. I'm retired, but now seem to be busier than when I was working a full time job!
