This was the only video that actually showed how to solve this problem. Had small lines of ink on the plastic piece which I only noticed after taking it apart as shown in video. Removed the ink with alcohol swab and now getting perfect copies! You solved a very frustrating problem. Thanks!

Thx much. I had a vertical line that only affected my ADF scans that plagued me for months. It turns out there was a spec of dust in that slot on the left. Thx a lot for the video.

Fixed my dad's wf-2850 there was a smudge under the plastic film causing a line down the page when using the automatic document feeder. Thanks for the video.
