If your Wi-fi uses the security feature of Wi-fi authentication (probably rear, but I choose to use it), you will need to find the Machine Access Code or MAC address of these Epson WorkForce all-in-ones. How I found it was to run the set up wizard. When the wi-fi router blocks it because it is not listed in its manually typed authentic list, the Epson WorkFoce offers to print an error report. After you print that report, you will find listed its MAC address or machine access Code. All this was revealed to me through their very helpful customer service.

Why did you increase the price of ink for this printer 300%? Now I have to send it to a landfill and buy a new printer that I can afford the ink for. Definitely never buying a Epson again if that's how you treat your customers.

Don't update your Firmware EVER. They remove the ability to use aftermarket inks.

My scanner will show the whole document on the scanner glass in preview mode. When I actually scan the document after the preview, the bottom third of the image is missing?

How do I use the 2 drawers, one for plain paper, one for label, which I did on the last Epson I had.

Thank you, but I have done that. I use labels in the bottom drawer and there is not a description. They are 2 labels to a page. What setting should I use, preprinted? letterhead? These are plain white labels, as I said, 2 to a page.

Not on the 4000 series. I could do that with my previous Epsons. Now when I click on "print settings etc) it does not give you a choice of cassette 1 or cassette 2. There must be a new way of doing it. Will you please check it and tell me.....I can tell you exactly what it says, but it's not like it was on my other computer.

This printer can't scan both sides of a paper , but it has ADF , what the idea when you have flatbed scanner as well ? I've bought it, and I'm deeply disappointed. The scanner s/w crash Adobe Acrobat , it can't scan from Windows. The support = 0

Epson workforce pro 4730 How do I close the top with a ratchet. cant figure it out??

@@epsonamerica my Epson is years old. It has a arm to hold the top up. The arm has teeth and it sounds like a ratchet when you open it. I called tech support and the girl helped me figure it out. So I jiggled the top sideways and the arm unlocked and I was able to lower the top. Thank you.
