No not really you can do it immediately.

Hi cleaning seemed to go ok. But when I tried to run off the check print heads it keeps getting.a paper jam. There is no sign of any kitchen paper left inside. Could it be the rollers have got wet? Ugh obliged for a quick response

Hi Brandon Thank you for the video. I tried following your instructions and, apart from some difficulties in locating the exact location of the nozzles, it worked well. However, after returning the cartridges and restarting the printer, I got an error message that the printer could not identify the cartridges. None of them! I tried reinstalling them several times, but with the same result. Any idea what could be wrong.

I had this issue with the 7100. After cleaning it wouldn't recognize any of the cartridges. But after a couple of days it was fine. Perhaps it just had to have time to dry out some. Not sure.

epson xp 6100 = double sided printing isnt working correctly. it prints but the 2nd side of print is going in the opposite direction. i dont want to remove the paper and change direction as your 2010 video about duplex printing. ok comment please

Would it work with just water?

Water can damage the electrical components. That’s why I recommend my cleaning kit.

I can't figure mine out mine will not print anything I had not used it in a while and had to replace all the ink and now it won't print anything at all

i have a epson xp-8700 printer i want to factory reset like it was when i took it out of the box is there a way plz

You should be able to find a reset option in the settings. Or it will say factory reset.

Try removing and reinstalling the ink cartridges.

May maintenance box is not accepted by my printer . I did get it from epson directly

if you run 3 times the head clean, most of the ink will be gone. Very wasteful. I have the 6100 and it's by far the worst printer i ever had. (It clogs all the time!)

I second this, I was stunned to see so much problems, I even bought cleaning fluid filled cartridges, I guess I am better off with a Best Printer cleaning kit. Now I'm almost out of ink completely.

I am never going to buy any Epson product again. Going nuts with my XP-6105 bought less athan 6 months ago. Adding to that the fact that you need to download numerous Epson apps to make this damn machine work
