. Epstein Barr Virus Reactivation in COVID
A study from China published in May 2021 concluded: We find a high incidence of EBV coinfection in COVID-19 patients. EBV/SARS-CoV-2 coinfection was associated with fever and increased inflammation. EBV reactivation may associated with the severity of COVID-19. The reactivation of EBV may also be the cause of the COVID long haul symptoms. Let's review.

You are a “King” in medicine! I had severe EBV in 1999 and it nearly killed me. This explains alot about the Long Covid symptoms I am suffering. The main thing that is scary about this information, the increased risk patients have of very serious complications if they have Covid too. For people who have dormant EBV, it is imperative to control any Covid infection asap before your body is fighting both of them at the same time. Dr Mobeen thank you for a great analysis yet again.

My daughter had a bad reaction to the Pfizer jab and she said it felt like when she had mono in high school. They thought she must be asymptomatic with covid but she continually tested negative.

Any stress/illness on the body/immune system can reactivate EBV.... and it appears that the more severe the illness/the stress the more likely it will reactive EBV. the million dollar question is, how often is this happening with the vaccines versus how often is this happening with mild or asymptomatic covid without vaccination versus how often is this happening in asymptomatic or mild covid in breakthrough cases? We need these rates to do a cost/benefit analysis of whether younger people like children and adolescents would be better off with the vaccine. One thing that seems to be the case based on reading several studies is that more severe covid is more likely to cause EBV reactivation, and more likely to cause higher levels of EBV reactivation, and also long covid. So it appears that the risk of long covid from vaccines is overall less than the risk from covid itself without vaccination, for most people. However, for children and adolescents, who are very unlikely to get severe covid, it is important to know the rate at which the vaccine can cause long covid, in order to do a proper cost/benefit analysis. Unfortunately, forces against science and ethics who are the ones with influence, will not take kindly to these kind of necessary and scientific studies being done.

@jonjones1336 2 жыл бұрын
@@heller97 I keep hearing this. But I am curious. Are you saying you also got white patches in the throat and a strong sore throat? Because it would be unlikely to be related to mono if you didn't get those symptoms. Fatigue itself doesn't mean it is related to mono, it could be something else.

@@jonjones1336 I started getting severe fatigue, unusual recurring infections, and thyroid dysfunction after the Pfizer vaccine. My liver enzymes were suddenly elevated, too. After months of tests to figure out what was going on, they discovered I had reactivated EBV. They can't tell if it was triggered by vaccine or previously undiagnosed Covid infection. I started feeling better and liver enzymes went back to normal about 9 months after dose #2. I still haven't received booster. I meet with an infectious disease specialist next month to sort it all out.

the medical medium talks about cortisol feeding the ebv virus. so when you're stressed, and don't give the adrenals and nerves a reset every night with sleep, then ebv escapes the nerve and feeds on biproducts of stress hormones.

Where I live has been an unusually large occurance of shingles in children that coincides with outbreaks of Covid-19. Since shingles is reactivated chickenpox this speaks to some kind of reactivating mechanism in SARS-CoV-2 or at least that it puts severe pressure on the immune system for these things to occur.

This is what Anthony William’s “Revised and Expanded Medical Medium” book, March 2021, ISBN 978-1-4019-6287-6 has stated in chapter 3 on Epstein Barr, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and Fibromyalgia. The flu and COVID lower the immune system allowing opportunities for viruses already in the body to take hold.

This video really blew me away and supports my suspicions with my sisters health. She had Covid in January 2022 and seem to get better within a month and then about two weeks later she got worse and she’s never been the same. She’s been really tired, coughs a lot, gets a lot of postnasal drip, sounds very nasally, as if she has packing up her nose. We are now in January 2023. In December 2022 she finally went to see an ENT after having an MRI or CT scan of her sinuses. The ENT said that her scan of her sinuses was abnormal, but would not elaborate. He said he wanted her to try another type of antibiotic (she has been on multiple rounds over the last year for what drs have said were sinus infections). So my sister sees this doctor at the end of January. A week ago she was in a really bad state, she got Covid again or so the test says. I’m concerned now that she has a nasopharyngeal carcinoma, which is what the doctor may have been alluding to about her MRI result. I really hope that is not the case. But she’s had no answers for a year. I should mention that she is double vaccinated and boosted.

Have known since day 1 that the indicators of Cytokine storm are : Monocytosis, elevated sed rate, elevated C-reactive protein, elevated ferritin levels. All out of proportion with symptoms and infection. May also see increased D-dimer, drop initially in total Wbc count (or an increase) as well as drop in platelet count (as destruction of platelets or formation of clots occur and take platelets out of functional circulation).
