@Sondra Vickers Back atcha sista. Yes her voice has changed. I heard her ex husband broke her nose and that's when her voice changed. There was a video of her singing Imagination Live on a late night show in 87 and I thought I was gonna faint LOL. Her voice was crisp and powerful yet subdued. She was wearing a white suit and stunning with her Baby Be Mine hairdo. Sadly I can't find that video anymore. I don't know how to download them.

You can look at this live and hear the comparisons. You have to go hear the 1st two albums hits its more telling then. I believe she started smoking by this time to which she hadn't done before. "Come share my love "is a song that ppl compared the two voices to.

That is a big statement. To me and for my tastes, I prefer Miki's tone over Whitney's. I would not say she is necessarily better, certainly in the same league. Both are gifted vocalists

Michael Jackson had his first biological child with her back when Joe Jackson was her manager. Brandon Howard is his name. Her music was great back in the 80's. When asked if Michael Jackson is the father of her son, her answer is, "I don't have the liberty to say." I know she was gagged with a legal agreement to keep her quiet, but he acknowledged the children he had through artificial insemination, so I don't understand why he would not acknowledge his biological son other than at the funeral. It would have been to his benefit. Moreover, it would have been to the benefit of the child's self-esteem the most. I just don't understand that one.
