The new stainless stove top for the Pathfinder water bottle is even better than I imagined it would be. I thought it was just going to be a stainless version of the ring, but this is even better. Thanks for listening to folks regarding product improvement suggestions. I appreciate that.

That's my exact MOLLE II Assault Pack set-up. Canteen on the left, 200RD SAW pouch on the right for my USGI Mess Kit, Waist Pack underneath with my shelter & USGI Poncho (soon to hold a Woobie too). It took me a year to get it all in Woodland Camo. Super comfortable and great for high speed movement. Just can't beat USGI quality for the money.

Mr. Canterbury, Holy Cow, dude. Talk about a whole bunch of info in a short period of time. This doesn't surprise me anymore but I had to say something about it after watching at least 30-40 of your videos. I can only assume you've been at this for a long time (instruction and teaching) to have your "spiel" down so cold, with very few pauses and vocal fillers, to be so organized and efficient with what you say and the order in which you say it. I'm a cheap bastard so I very much depend on KZbin and my own experiences, limited though they may be, to learn MORE bushcraft and get tips on gear. I hope to someday take one or more of your classes, though there are so many others (Thunder Ranch, Patriot Nurse, etc) I wish to take as well so I need to do be frugal. Just keep doing what you're doing (like you aren't, right?) and PLEASE keep making videos. Your service to the rest of the cheap bastards is very much appreciated. Thank you.

Yet another awesome vid Dave - thanks. FWIW, I've found having my First - Line Kit ( knife, water bottle with canteen, maxpedition M2 waist pack with combustion, first aid, nav, survival blanket, cutting tools, light, trapping gear inside) on my belt reassuring. I keep hydrated as water bottle is easy to access and if I was to lose my pack - river crossing gone wrong - I will still get out of the bush down here in NZ alive. Cheers.

Hello Dave, You should set up a 72 hour Survival kit that would be sold on the website. It should be a low enough price that the normal man can buy it. Good enough that you'd trust going out with it for 3 days. I'm building a 1 week pack right now And It's so hard to find good brands/ good stuff to fill the pack while staying within a normal price range.

They sell it at any bank like Wells Fargo, Chase, etc.. It's used to tie bundles of money larger than 10,000 amounts for transport. You just have to ask the bank teller for it usually.

Dave, I know that knives made with 1095 and O1 steels will throw sparks when hit with a piece of flint. Will a knife made from A2 steel also throw sparks when hit with flint? I'm excited about the stove set-up for the Kleen Kanteen water bottles! How long before they will be available?

Thanks Dave for the video. I do some hiking and I do a lot of urban exploring and I was wondering how much is this kit's weigh out and is there a way to lower some weight on some of that gear without severely lowering the quality of the gear. BTW I have most of that kit.

and a long-sleeved shirt that is loose fitting. You may ask why I say long sleeves and pants; just trust me...you will thank me later when you watch those that brought short sleeves and shorts fight with sun burn, bugs, and rash from plants/stings. I really like Carhartt stuf because its affordable and bomb-proof but there are other great manufactures. Bring some rain gear, a good hoodie, I recommend 100% wool. As for material, stick with the duck-canvas and not the cotton, nyco 50/50 or similar

Hi Mr. Dave, agree with the others about the beard. Remind me first time i saw you, on YT, running along a trin trail talking about fitness. Short beard, it's way better looking sir. About the stove+canteen etc, i'm sorry but i've "stolen" the design more than 10 years ago. LOL Only the stove it's a bit bigger and a "positive" stove. Multifuel, can burn anything. Can be use to warm a decent size of shelter, undestructible steele. :) Keep going, always a pleasure to see you're videos. :)
