Just stand up straight and press the barbell by extending your arms

But you can do a lot with a bench so you should have one!

Interesting that they might sell broken sets of lb plates. Here we do kg and the kg sets are 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 with possibly some smaller micro increment plates added. The lb set is broken because you did 2.5, 5, 10, 25, 35, 45. The plates before the jump to 25 only add up to 17.5 lbs. There is a missing 20 lbs plate needed. Or an extra 10 lbs to emulate that missing 20 lbs plate.

They do make smaller KG plates if you need them. My gym has 0.5 KG plates.

Is the plywood there to bolt the rack down? What are the dimensions of that platform?

What are the dimensions of the deadlifting section of the platform? Is it big enough to do cleans and snatches?

35's are like those extra knives they throw into the set just to up the part count - useless. What is needed is the 2nd set of 10's.

I respectfully disagree, sir. I'm 5'11½" (yes the ½" matters, ask my wife), 44 y/o, 95kg (209lbs) on December 1, 2022. My squat was 182lbs, bench was 149lbs, deadlift 225lbs. Today is January 13, 2023. My diet has been poor, my sleep irregular, my drinking sporadic, my training inconsistent... However yesterday was NLP day 15. I am now 105 kg (231lbs) My squat was 260lbs Bench was 199½lbs Deadlift was 271lbs These are not impressive numbers. In 41 days though I have begun approaching a third pair of 45s on my deadlift. Within the next 6 weeks I'll likely also surpass 314lbs on my squat (that's three 45lbs plates on each side). My point is that you can be an old, fat fuck-up and still need a third set of 45s within 12 weeks of beginning NLP. 🙏🏻

The look like Strength Co plates. Check out Basement Brandon's review if you want more info.

Why do you recommend 2 pairs of 10s instead of only one pair?
@thestrengthco2 жыл бұрын
To make sure that you can make 2.5 lbs jumps all the way up without a larger jump
