my goal is 1cr in 20 yrs but the value for 1 cr will like 25 lacs of today after 20 yrs due to inflation and we also not get the same fd rate which is today after 20 yrs what’s your thoughts on it

It depends what you want 1cr for.. if it's for retirement corpus, it's definitely not enough.. so first you need to calculate hw much of your current monthly expenses will be after 20yrs, due to inflation.. then you must plan to accumulate at least 100times of it in high growth mutual funds/stocks.. assuming it's 8-9 years of expenses and then deposit those funds eventually in a balanced adv fund and go for SWP post retirement

It's not easy to invest directly into stocks for long term unless you have in depth understanding about the sector & company and impact of economy on to it. I've invested good amount in Divi's Labs with fairly good understanding of the company & sector. But seeing its results yesterday, I was little bit shaken, though I still believe in its long term growth.

Dear Primal, My goal are clear and expectation is also 12%. I have divided my portfolio also for regular income and balance for long term growth. If i get get 18-20% growth in 6 months. Should i book profit or just watch my growth portfolio growing which may be 12% in long term?

My opinion we have to book profit also. mutual fund buying and holding few months then selling the stocks, then they will buy other stock and doing same procedure . so once we get good profit we have to book profit and shift to other sector or stocks. we should not concentrate single stock compounding . we must concentrate our capital compounding

Sir ji you are very right I do trading regularly, but for investment purposes MF are really very great product, if I have to invest heavily, I will rely on fund manager, but trading is all about risk reward management, while investing is best for wealth creation, and MFs are great vehicle.
