Bob's Burgers was really accurate with pinworms. Gene got them after a tater tot fell out o his shorts onto the bathroom floor, a classmate fresh out the bathroom stall (no washed hands to be found) picked up the tot, handed it to him, and he ate it. So, Gene did ingest it, though everyone else who claims to have gotten worms are likely psychosomatic, except possibly Linda. Though if Gene touched any of the food or plates before dinner, he could have transfered his pinworms that way, perhaps?

This is amazing. Hahaha. There is also a dentist on the show who is a regular character voiced by Ken Jeong and he is hilarious. I'm a dental hygienists and he makes me cringe with his mistakes, but my favorite line of his that I feel is when he was taking Halloween candy from the kids and said "Do you know how bad they are for your teeth?? No! Because you didn't barely graduate dental school!" 🤣

The scene where Gene has the stomach bug reminds me of when I was pregnant for my first child and I had a stomach bug and had to sit on the toilet and vomit into a bucket because everything came out everywhere. When I called in at work they kept asking me if I was "sure" that I was too sick to work.

I went to the doctor to figure out why I have issues sleeping. I don't remember why but they did blood work. And I remember saying to let them know if I feel dizzy and that I probably shouldn't look. I just watched and laughed. She looked at me like I was insane. Blood doesn't scare me. It was honestly kind of funny.

I know pretty easily that, although I grew to seriously *_*hate_** the show because of lack of good storylines, underpowered at best jokes- I started feeling double crossed by everyone having to do with it. Watching at least clips of this otherwise bad show has me feeling like Mom's back and I can like it as though I'm watching it with her.

I do wonder with shows like these do people watch the whole episode or just a clip? I realize the doctor is a busy and important man but I think the videos would be better if they watched the whole episode (maybe watch them at double speed so it takes up less of the doctor's time).

I remember with having some blood drawn a couple years ago, i felt nervous so my brother helped me get through it. But at the end when the needle was pulled out I felt like I was heavily drenched with sweat and ready to pass out. The nurse that was there had me lay down on a bed, gave me have some juice to drink and I felt better after 10 minutes

It's unfortunate to have a phobia of hypodermic needles....as an adult. I'm 31, never had a 'bad' experience in a hospital. I even remember getting shots for school at 7 yrs old, and I didn't cry or whine. 11 years later, I go to give blood at school, passed out cold. It's such an embarrassing thing to have to warn a doctor about. Pins, needles, tattoos, all that's fine, but if they're hollow, my mind or body says it's not ok.

Well, I didn't know it when I broke my collar bone. I just knew I had a rather intense pain in my shoulder. However I quickly found out it had snapped clean in half when my mother checked it by pushing the bone. I felt scraping. Also found out my wrist was fractured when the doctor asked me if I had pain anywhere else. Wrist just felt like I had sprained or twisted it.

Well, he did mention taking anti-nausea medication. In cases like yours, the doctor will likely administer it through an IV before administering fluids. Although it wasn’t the stomach flu, I had an attack of vasovagal syncope and they gave me anti-nausea medication at the hospital.

When I catch a stomach bug I rarely throw up. Just diarrhea. When I got a stomach bug when I was 13 I threw up one day and had diarrhea the next day. And by then I wasn’t throwing up. I drink so much water that my urine is still pretty clear when I have diarrhea.

Wow 2:00. I badly lacerated the pad of my index finger and the doc proposed stitches but the digital block didn’t sound like fun (plus needles give me huge anxiety) so I verbally resisted a bit and he ended up using lots of skin glue and steri strips instead. It worked like a charm and I got to avoid that unpleasant looking digital block! I wish I could remember the doctor’s name, but he had to run because someone with a far worse injury came in right as he finished.
