I don’t get why ppl keep supporting/promoting GoE, his mod is falsely referred to as and overhaul mod, has poor balance and many bugs, is paywalled (which is illegal since he rips assets from other games which he doesn’t own), and GoE himself gatekeeps modding tools from the community and actively steal from them (as seen with him selling seamless co-op without permission and with many other incidence of claiming credit for stuff he didn’t do in ds2) and on top of that attacks fellow community members when they call him out (like hellkite who deleted his channel bc of all the harassment). Basically what I’m sayin is just don’t support this dude, he’s a danger to the modding community as a whole and a shitty dev who mistreats his workers at that.

Honestly aside form Helphen's area i'm really glad i didn't give my money to get the mod. Aside from only being able to only get the mod from the creators by paying which is illegal since you are reselling intellectual property therefore infringing on the ToS, they are also doing some shady practices such as outright stealing code from other mod makers without crediting and marketing it as their own and not making their code open source to name a few

This mod is a joke to me. I mean, if I want to fight Nameless King (Ornstein “Godskin” phase 2), Vordt of the Boreal Valley (Smough “Godskin” phase 2), and Soul of Cinder (who for some reason has Mohg’s ost???) to name a couple I would just go play DS3 (my personal favourite souls game, though I like all of them) if I wanted to fight them again instead of playing this “mod” that you have to PAY for. Hell, if you want to fight DS3 bosses with a new style just go play DS3 Convergence Mod. If you want a better ER mod that’s free AND fits better with the lore then play Elden Ring Convergence. To add one last thing: “Godskins” using lightning does not fit with their theme and lore. Plus the phase 1 reskin for “Godskin Vordt” being a reskinned FIre Prelate enemy in all of its moves does not sit well. Plus let’s not forget the fact that GoE is STEALING ASSETS and ENDANGERING THE MODDING SCENE BY MAKING THIS MOD PAID (illegal to use copyrighted assets and make your product paid.) Plus GoE is well known for all the wrong reasons such as taking other people’s work and giving no credit to give an example. Anyways, rant over about this garbage mod.

Yes, it's too much camera rumble on Radahn 3rd phase. And Elden Malenia isn't that hard, since most of her waterfowl attacks only have AoE hitbox and don't have blade hitbox. So it's not so hard to dodge it :)

As for Convergence bosses, at least they try to make them original, mixing many attacks from previous bosses for the Matriarch and whatnot.

im not even half way through and i see the "Foreskin Duo" was turned into a MUCH more direct homage to O&S. edit: yo, that Helphen spirit world thing was cool. and were both of those dudes from Bloodborne's cut content??? i very much recognized the beefier demon as ive seen mod footage of it recently and that was all the same animations and it even had a 2nd head, which it kept swapping with the other demon i didnt recognize? interesting boss mechanic though i dont get what that actually did. edit2: that 3rd phase Radahn thing is cool. i like the use of the unused Astel animation. which actually confirmed what i thought right away, he brings down the stars upon you. with that, i feel it could use some modification and custom effects to imply that that much more heavily, like a MUCH smaller scale version of what happens in the base game cutscene after you beat Radahn, but that in place of the regular meteor spells.

@@nathanaelovalles346 i made most of the bosses (i didn't make the first phase of godskin OnS and Oedon which is still unreleased). i am solely a boss designer though so i have minimal say over the other systems working in the mod. with that in mind, can you go into more detail about things that feel unbalanced with regards to the boss encounters? i'm trying to take in as much feedback as possible bc i rly do want these fights to be very good. for example i've already proposed a new set of dmg values and hitbox changes for cambria as a result of some discrepancies with the damage he was dealing. so if you feel there's anything like that you have in mind, feel free to let me know. and thanks for speaking your mind!

⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠@@mihairus6353Maybe think about how someone attempting a no-hit run might complain about the bosses. For example, with the Godskin Executioner it would basically be impossible. There’s too little time (and too dark for some parts) for players to react to some of the attacks and there’s too wide AoE for some attacks to be dodged. For the vanilla godskin noble, there were queues the player could read for what attack was coming. This problem can be seen with other bosses like Elden Malenia which just whipped out waterfowl dance like 3 times in a row. Another issue across a few bosses is the lightning. For me as a viewer I thought it looked pretty cool, but if you were to look at it from someone trying to no-hit you can obviously see how it would make them punch their monitor. Maybe keep the instant lightning strikes farther back and if a boss is going to have an AoE attack using lightning indicate it to the player by having the boss summon the lightning to their weapon, or have the weapon visibly charge up for a couple of seconds. That was my takeaway from just looking at it but I haven’t even played the mod, nor do I know anything about boss design so what do I know. Overall, I think you did a pretty good job, just need to find a balance between spectacle and “fairness”. Damage discrepancies like you mentioned are another thing good thing to keep in mind for that balance. Keep up the good work!
