As Ethiopian, I am sorry to hear that knowledgeable people like Amelga, couldn’t contribute their knowledge for their country.

@@ETBeMore Learn what from it? So from all the non direct responses he gave what you’re telling me you’ve learnt the company owns it and not him?? What does that even mean?? I’m guessing you know nothing about Access Real Estate and Access Capital. 1. What kind of a company who has a deal and a legally binding contract with another company doesn’t sue them for not delivering on their contract? 2. Not all houses/apartments that were sold by Access Real Estate were steal structure. Yet he hasn’t delivered any of them. Not a single apartment or house. 3. Most of the apartments they were selling, Access Real Estate doesn’t even own the lands nor does it have binding contracts with the land owners. He’s talking such BS, and doesn’t even give direct responses. Him saying he was the first black on Wall Street is laughable. The first black joined Wall Street in 1970. Thank you Mr. Dereje for your insightful interview you have provided to your listeners. 🙏 I am the son of Dr. Terrefe Woldetsadik whom you have mentioned his name in many occasions with your guests who have done so much for our beloved country Ethiopia during Mr. Mengistu Hailemariam's controversial regime. One of those guest was Mr. Abera Yemane-Ab, whom I consider my hero who have done so much for his best friend's son (myself) out of his kindness and a true love for his 'late' friend*! It is always my hope to witness one day that Dr. Amare Tegbaru will accept your invitation for an interview where you use your brilliant questioning method to revile the truth out of his own mouth about what really went wrong back then which resulted in the death of both my parents along with those eleven (11) men*! Having said that, regarding Mr. Ermias Amelga, I enjoyed your wise line of questioning skill and his genuine explanation in the subject matter. People like him with such knowledge and potential to do things that are extraordinary for our country should be given the opportunity to share their wisdom and give back to their community. If possible, even provide service in his line of expertise to our country at an advisory level to the current Council of Ministers of Abiy Ahmed. I can't wait to get to hear the second part of this interview*!!! Gashu Terrefe Woldetsadik from Washington, DC May God Bless Our Beloved Ethiopia and the Ethiopian people!🙏🇪🇹

Mengistu did what a country should do at the time of war. The current crazy and cruel atrocities against Afar and Amhara by tplf is happening because the government played a soft ball. Mengistu worked for the country. He didn't serve any other foreign country. Even in Tigray people say today that Mengistu army never abused/rapped any civilians. Our country's problem stems from not knowing : What we want How seriously we want How can we get what we want.
Lol true, & we can learn to be patient, wise & most of all ... to be a human being from his experience!! That's all he did👌

Very extra-ordinary business man who came to his native country before his times and ended up paying an arm and leg. Very inspiring story which gives a lesson learned for future endeavor for a society typically sluggish to accept new change and take chances and risks. Steel structures works very very well and everybody uses around the globe and it is rigid, strong, can withstand earthquakes and fast construction as it is assembled as lego. Good job Mr. Amelga!!!

If he took your 2million in hopes of a home and broke your family you wouldn't say this. This guy was covered by government to not be sued by hundred's of Ethiopians who lost millions of their life time savings. The previous govt gave him immunity from all his mischief. All his failures are blamed on others never on him. For all his failures he blames someone else. Kezi misgin hizb bizu birr new yezereffew bet eseralehu bilo and still never resolved it for over 10 years. Gura bicha ale Teddy Afro.

Ermiyas Amelga should be given every opportunity to succeed by establishing a successful company or even many of them. I came to this strong opinion after listening to his amazing point about the man who approached him with the evil suggestion of making his rival out of business by mischievously damaging his business which he rejected. This man is in my heart and he deserves to succeed and he has the ethics and knowhow. He was a victim of woyanes racist views. I heard he was proposing to import Chinese electronics which is not a creative business as it is simply a business of arbitrage in which Ethiopia is made a market for Chinese products which any layperson can do. This man should help to establish clean and successful companies for which he is more than qualified. He should play advisory roles on different companies that could create jobs by involving diverse social backgrounds.
