ADD: It's a couple of days later now. I farmed 20-ish magic dusts in about 4-5 hours. I've made roughly 1000 gold. I started at about 40 gold when I transferred from Pagle a while back and I am now currently sitting at 1066g after a couple of days selling them slowly on the AH. This 100% works for any people currently levelling who need a quick boost of gold. I now have enough gold to fund my epic mount at level 60. Thank you once again for the great tutorial video!

Great video, I totally agree and did the same stuff while leveling a new character on Whitemane. Got most my money herbing swiftthistle. Easily got 400+ gold from it without going out of my way to farm it. Currently level 42 and joined the soft reserve discord you showed last video. I'm excited to join runs when i hit 60!

If I could make enough gold to keep up with expacs + monthly sub, I'd probably only play wow. But I can never make more than 1-2 tokens before my time runs out. Too dumb to use tsm

Can confirm my druid had 500g on it by the time it was level 35, it helped offset the boost on that alt for a little bit. I do little bit of farming on a dead server too and send it over when I'm bored. It's so easy on this cluster these days to make gold for barely any effort.

So a dead server does not connect with Whitemane? How does that work?

@@dapeng1919 I moved a character to a dead realm and i xfer level 1 alts with mats to whitemane using free xfer

Farming desirable items to sell to players in need is always lucrative. As for investing your time in a community fresh that in my opinion will poof just like every community fresh that happened before it, I dont think that is worth while.

problem i have is that a few hundred gold isnt hard to come by but you need thousands to get into most runs as a new player. then you farm all this gold, get into a run get a few pieces and youre back to square one again

Why not join a soft reserve guild, DKP guild, ETC etc?? You just need a few hundred gold for consumes n enchants dude

Eh. Inflation sucks. It feels good to get a magic dust and sell it for 50g, but you will ultimately hit a wall at 60, where if you aren’t already geared and don’t buy gold, there will be diminishing returns on your effort. Most players get tuckered out and hit a wall in BWL. It feels great to spend 2 hours in BWL and get a 1000g purse, but when you see every decent weapon go for 40-80k. You suddenly realize that it will take you upwards of 40-80 weeks of BWL contribution to get a weapon. And this is where players finally start to recognize how much gold is being bought and can make sense of the current state of value on era.

@@Justaguyyoutubin This has not at all been my experience, and I play both horde and ally. You farm mats like this to get enough gear to hop into zg, then enough to hop into MC/BWL, then AQ40, then naxx. I've never bought gold and I have 5 toons that can run naxx. It's not that fast, but guess what - back in the day, you had to /roll against everyone for that CTS, and you had to pray to get it. Now you can actually get it. Also, weapons in bwl rarely go for more than 30k, even CTS/Mala/etc. Outside of warrior weapons things are pretty reasonable, the SoD swipers all left and its just a bunch of homies that play the game now. Not to mention.... I don't think I'd ever want to be in a 2 hour bwl LOL

@@dwarflord Those opportunities are in the minority on Whitemane. I mean, if we're being honest, that represents about 5% of the raids that are happening? I already have two Naxx geared toons, that were geared long before the gdkp meta emerged. But a lot of my friends have quit due to that meta, and it sucks to see them go.

@@dwarflordbecause of money printing. Chinese gold farmers basically print money by farming non stop. Without them the economy wouldn’t be as inflated because of the natural money sinks like food/water, ammo, mounts, and respecs. The rest would just circle between the players, who have limited time or are lazy like you said. Even a 10s light feather is expensive.

@@KK-sg5gl definitely inflated by farmers. luckily the farmers farming RAW gold flyhacking is banned. less farmers! most went to SOD, slowly return as sod declines. YES its infalted, but its getting better, the economy is slowly recovering a bit
