Excellent! I don't go to Silverstone but perhaps the car might be out at Shelsley or Loton Park later in the year? Talking of R4D, I remember when Peter Brewer had it. It was painted blue and white and looked well used! Keep up the good work.

I remember the day the Conrod bolt broke at Donnington and pushed that hole in the block ,dad had had a new set made and we went back the the makers and it turned out they had run out of the high strength material after the eleventh one and someone made one in a ordinary in mild steel to make up the 12 , an expensive lesson in checking everything that’s done out of house

It was mid to late 70s when that happened it happened coming down to the chicane so he just carried on straight on to the old circuit and left it there until meeting was finished , I was running the Monza in different session it happened in practice session ,I think he got five laps out of it , the only time I ever saw him with tears in his eyes ,yes I have and will be watching it is looking beautiful and how it should and wow that colour is spot on and the work is first class
