It is not known as to why Puttanna Kanagal one of the greatest director never used the music of Rajan Nagendra and G.K.Venkatesh in his films. Actually Kannada film music lovers are the loosers. Had this had happened, Kannada film music would have been still richer with many more melodious all time great songs with these combinations.

For Puttanna kanagal's most of the films Music was given by Vijaya bhaskar in kannada. Others are M. Rangarao Upendrakumar

Puttanna Kanagal's first choice was Vijaya Bhasker only. In my opinion Rajan Nagendra, G K Venkatesh and also Satyam should have got an opportunity to give music for at least one film of Kanagal. Music lovers are the real loosers.

For your kind information, (with due respect to Rajan Nagendra) Puttanna Kanangal's favorite music director was Vijaya Bhaskar and the cameo have created a big record in Kannada film industry. In a few films he worked with M. Rangarao also.
