Time passed, we’ve learned much about and appreciate each other’s cultures, and now we love you guys like you’re part of our own family. Love your humility here too, it’s contagious and beautiful. Well done South Africa. Peace out! 👏👏👏

And so here they are..the Springboks of old reborn. My disappointment with the ABs losing the semifinal last week quickly faded when I saw the reaction of the Boks on winning the world cup today...we are reminded by their tears that only the Boks in all of Rugby feel the weight of a Nation and the history of the Giants who have worn their jersey as much as the All Blacks do. The Boks for all their troubles still epitomise what we Kiwis love and value about rugby and rugby players - tough, humble, unyielding warriors. This is the new dawn of the Springboks, and as our All Blacks look on, we now know that the storied rivalry between our countries is well and truly rejoined, and every True All Blacks fan in the world is rejoicing with you tonight, for we are happy in our own way, that these legendary Giants of rugby rule the world once more.

Les LesLes agree. If the rest of the country follow that example, imagine what they will accomplish. I think politicians should especially learn from these guys. Congratulations to you both Siya Kolisi and Rassie Erasmus and your Springboks. Nothing brings a country together like winning an event such as RWC 2019. From a devoted All Blacks supporter you played a splendid game of patience absorbing the pressure that England dished up and maintained a belief and took the opportunities when they arrived. You thoroughly deserved your win and the title of World number one. A year ago, you were at best an outside chance, even right through The Rugby Championship up to the beginning of the World Cup. But you hung in there biding you time and let the cup come to you. The resilience you showed was such a huge part of your historic win and as you said Siya, your coach and staff's contribution of maintaining the positivity that flowed down through the team was probably X-factor you needed. Commiserations 'to England and Eddie Jones who had a well prepared team, who I believe had prepared solely to beat The All Blacks. Once again Congratulations to you and your World #1 Springboks and your expectant, equally deserving fans. KIA ORA.
