I gambled on one lol - tri-fuel and electric start - had to run it on house natural gas full time for four days, running a few things - seemingly no problems. Just be sure you refill oil at 600 ml like the manual says and not 450 like what my generator plate says. And for a gas "quick connect" you need to buy "Propane Brass Quick Connect Fitting Adapter Female Plug x 3/8' NPT" (I think the manual incorrectly says 5/8). Except for no eco mode, pretty much happy with it so far.

If you are homesteading and using propane for all heavy loads, then the electrical load would be in this wattage range. It would be running on a BBQ house LP outlet and the large household storage tank and its regulator. But you really need REMOTE START/STOP if you don't want to contend with wild critters or fumble your way back in the dark. It's hard to find a model with both these criteria. A multi-functional knob just doesn't allow remote start/stop as the choke has to be electric and the LP main fuel valve must be as well as the gasoline valve. I note that some models can't be connected to a BBQ outlet as the LP "demand valve" is attached to a regulator that only fits to a small portable tank!

Great in depth review. One thing I didn’t see discussed (apologies if I missed it) is the max power output per fuel. Generally gasoline being the rated power, propane a bit less and natural gas less again. Is that also true for this unit?

Thanks for your insightful question! It is mentioned in the video that for the Erayak 4500PD, the maximum power output is reduced by about 10% when using propane or natural gas (3150W rated power, maximum peak power 4050W) compared to using gasoline (3500W rated power, maximum peak power 4500W). As for fuel efficiency, it is estimated that the fuel efficiency of propane is 73% and the fuel efficiency of natural gas is 31% compared to the baseline value of gasoline of 2.125 L/Hour (or ~0.561 GALL/Hour).

At 54:00 you’re taking about leg 1 and leg 2 to a house. Why can’t they make it so you could connect the two together so you can generate two 120v AC signals that are 180 degrees out of phase so you can connect one to leg 1 and the other to leg 2?

HI. Can youa make a separate video on how to setup on natural gas safely. Thanks.

We are going to make such video for you soon.

I gambled on one for house natural gas - soon after purchase I needed to run it uninterrupted four straight days - seemed to be no problem - for a quick connect gas hookup you need to buy "propane brass Quick Connect Fitting Adapter Female Plug x 3/8' NPT" - except for no eco mode, so far I'm happy with it. And be sure you do 600 mL oil like the manual says and not the 450 bark like the plate on my generator says.

Just have few questions before buying? Can this be paralleled with another generator? Is it a tri fuel generator? Is there a remote start? Is this serviceable in India? Would you have serviceable part sin India?

Floating or bonded neutral?

So this generator generates DC and uses an inverter to convert that to AC? Could it charge a battery instead so the inverter can keep going while the motor is stopped? I’d like something that could automatically turn off and on when needed to keep a battery charged while the battery is used to run an inverter. I should be able to add as many batteries as I want and be able to set the start and stop voltage levels.

It would also be nice to be able to set a time of day range where the start voltage is lower. The purpose is for the time of day when people are sleeping. And maybe another range where the start voltage is higher so the battery can be fully charged before sleep time starts.

4500PD will automatically charge the "starter battery" when it is running, because it has a built-in charger. However, it will not output power to the "starter battery" or external appliances when it is stopped, because 4500PD does not have a "power reserve battery" similar to a power bank. Therefore, if the "starter battery" voltage is too low due to the generator not being started for a long time like half a year or a year, it is necessary to start the generator by hand. At the same time, the DC output port on the panel of 4500PD is only USB. If you need a 12V 5A cigarette lighter port for external charging, you can find it on another model 4500P or 2400P.

@@ErayakPowerSolution, I need to charge my 12v or 24v whole house battery bank so that I can use an inverter to power my home.
@ErayakPowerSolution2 ай бұрын
@@terjeoseberg990 There are separate DC12V, 5A outputs on the 2400P and 4500P models. But I'm not sure if the power can meet your needs. Maybe you can also consider connecting them or the 4500PD's AC output socket to the appliance through another higher-power charger.

Do you know it's so funny being a person who likes to make things and welds and stuff I am so sick and tired of companies coming up with generators that use three different fuels generator that has this and that the end of the day nothing is any good there's always a f****** problem with all these things I say go back to simpler things gasoline generator diesel that's all
