Paros Greece : blue water kitesurf and vacation spot

This trip was a bit of a change from previous vacations where we went with the primary goal of kiting. In the past we've stayed in kite camps in remote locations, and just kited all day every day. Paros is a destination that has lots of other things to do, and accommodations that are a nice upgrade from the typical kite camp bungalow.

Isn't that we we are always thinking - "is there kiting?" I can't pass a birdbath without that question: Thank you for putting this together. The wind phenomena is interesting to know.

Easy, owner was very cool, and the gear was brand new. I don’t remember them asking too many questions, they might have asked how long I’ve been riding and what my level was?

I'm so used to gusty conditions... im not sure I noticed :) It was definitely choppy.

Is it possible to kite there without kite scools? (free access to the water/wind)

I'm not 100% certain, because I rented from a kite school there. Would be great if someone who knows the spot better can confirm? I saw people kiting there that were not with a school, and I didn't see anyone approaching them to charge a fee. I also saw a lot of people nearby in camping cars... not sure they'd camp there if the spot was paid access?

@@erbartlett The access is free to beach, which is typical for greece. You can take your own equipment and enjoy the meltemi. As far as I know the camping cars in the south kind of own that places or pay for it. The ones between the schools are more accepted. Camping is actually prohibited

where is the blue lagoon in paros ? you mean the flat near to the beach ?

you have to take a boat to get there. or do a down winder and have a boat pick you up
