Erbauer good kit

Needed a new drill set so I nipped down to screwfix and got one.

I recently started buying Erbauer and the one that really goes under the radar is the 120NM drill with 2 x 5ah batteries for £135. Crazy value.

I recently bought this set and note that the impact driver doesn't drive continuously, it drives for approx 1 - 3 seconds (it varies) then stops.. and will drive again as a soon I press the trigger again.. and will again drive for a couple of seconds.. I assumed this was a feature to protect the motor being overloaded. Should it do this?

Sorry for delay in getting back to you, I wanted to check my drill first as I couldn’t remember having this issue. Mine does drive continuously I can only imagine yours may have a fault on it. I would certainly take it back and exchange it.

Just another thought, is the battery fully charged?

@@Brett440 Brett.. thanks for replying! Turns out.. me being so heavy handed.. I was just applying too much pressure and the motor was dropping out n in. Tried it with less pressure and it's fine. Cheers for your input ☺️
