my D4 died after 3rd usage. I used jus about 1mm of cutting disc. Then magic smoke on 2nd speed.

Is it possible to place new transistors on the pads next to them that are not populated because my original pads are torn because the transistors were melted?

Can you make video with model pwsap 20 LI E6?this model has control panel with touch. I bought a control board with connector but i think the wire configuration is diferent than the original controller. If i connect a button from a screwdriver, it works perfectly. Can You please help

Can you share the symbols from the three chips from the controll board please? My PWSAP 20-Li D4 got bricked after firmware update... and im wondering if there is a external memory chip so in can extract good firmware and flash it to my dead tool.

In the angle grinder was undervoltage protection (yellow wire in battery terminal)how do you solve that?I dont find any word in the product description.If is not present,grinder will suck the battery dry so destroy it 🤔

I got similar controller in my chinese brushless drill and it stops working at around 15V. Not sure if all of them have that though.

Why did you bother opening the old controller if you were going to replace it with another one? Also, couldn't the blown MOSFETs have been replaced to fix the board? Was the controller IC also blown?

I thought it would work after replacing the transistors, but after removing them and measuring, I found out that the gate driver was also burnt, which could not be found🤷

Better get a dewalt or milwaukee or flex grinder, more power

You can overvolt the Parkside grinder with 24v and it will destroy what u mentioned

Parkside tools, brushless and normal, have a problem. If the motor get stuck - be it a saw, a grinder or else, the motor collector - for brush tools - or the driver circuit - for brushless tools - get burned after only two seconds. I use a Parkside drill (with brush motor) and I keep the clutch always engaged, so if the drill bit gets stuck in the hole, the motor can still spin, saving the drill from a premature end. As with 12 Volt tools the battery contain a complete BMS with cell balancing, I believe it is possible to decrease the over current threshold, cutting the voltage when the current drain become excessive. This controller works with all 18V - 20V tools which also has 14 - 15V low voltage protection!

Hey. How can I remove the two wires between the plus and minus that connects to the battery in order to make it work with another battery???? S and id I think! Just want the remaining plus and minus and exclude the other 2

does someone knows why these parkside grinders sounds so horrible like they already broken ? if you compare it with bosch or milwaukee, you dont have this scratching resistance sound with is shown in the first minute

Are you asking about the whole controller assembly or about transistors? Transistors cannot be properly replaced, because it got hot so much it fused with copper.

I don't think It's available anywhere and I even transferred from another non-working one. But it also came out burnt🤦🤦🤦

@tomaszw5156 In this case, I waited 5-6 months for a donor PCB, which I first installed a driver and it came out with more burnt channels than the first one, which is not in the video.

@@tomaszw5156 most likely yes, but since alot of copper is missing the conductivity will not be sufficient enough, and increased resistance means more heat.

Its a great fixing video, but hey parkside / lidl has a 3 year warranty, and i dont think this angle was older than that period :P

Неплохо, но я все свои китайские разбирал и усиливал дорожки, так же менял на большее сечение от колодки к плате. Итог всего, стало сложнее увести в защиту инструмент.
