I use a leather beater! It's produced by KA Drums - and it is stock option to their direct drive double pedal.

Dear Arslan, i have a problem with my electronic drumset. When i'm making single stroke, i can hear an extra stroke caused by rebound. I'd glued thin sponge on bass pad and it solved this problem. But in this case i'm loosing some stokes when i'm playing double strokes. Is it problem of my drumset or in my technique?

Denis Bek-Nazarov I would say this is a mix. I think it mainly is your drumset

Sounds like you might want to adjust your Threshold higher on your drum module. See this video at the 2 minute & 8 minute mark... kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYmafGOsmrGAgLM

I liked those Rubber beaters, but a friend of my used them and said that they always stuck on his drum head when he rest the beater on the head. Is this true?
@ErceArslan4 жыл бұрын
Interesting experience. Maybe those beaters were a bit cheap ones?

Loving your videos. Just one question though, isn't the Axis Sonic Hammer surface Delrin plastic and not metal?
@ErceArslan5 жыл бұрын
Thank you Steve! A great detail and question you have! Honestly I don't know the exact chemical material of the sonic hammer beaters. But it seems like a metal alloy or ultra compressed delrin plastic as you said. The most important thing here about beaters for the tone is the density of the material. As I said in the video that Axis hammer beater is not a directly produced metal beater but because its highly compressed material like a metal alloy it will almost always sound like the any directly produced metal beater. Maybe later I can test that tiny difference in another video:) thanks for the info. I really appreciate it.

Hello sir. Please see if you have any suggestions for me to fix my slave pedal let me know. I bought a double bass pearl p932 demonator pedal. I have tried adjusting it so many times I even bought a trick universal drive shaft for it but the sleeve pedal feels way heavier than the right pedal. I can’t afford to buy new pedals so any suggestion to correct the problem please let me know. Thanks and have a great day
@ErceArslan5 жыл бұрын
Hello my friend. Unfortunately that's the biggest problem of twin pedals :/ Since you have a single chain pedal, this problem is much more than the other kind of the drives. The slave pedal will always feel heariver than the main pedal. I will explain much more about the differences between a twin pedal and two single pedals on my 19th lesson of this serie. I can suggest you to sell the pedal and buy at least a double chain drive or direct drive twin pedal (after trying).
