1. There is a third job skill (piercing shot iirc) that lowers ied of boss for 30s. You use this first, then vortex(30s cd), then penguins(30s cd) to keep uptime 2. As others said, emerald flower gives u ied, slow and lure bosses 3. You can use penguins while holding down hurricane. This increase uptime and triffling arrow procs. This cygnus skill is DESIGNED for WA

Just to piggy back off of what was said in this video. 1. phlanax direction can be changed just by tapping the skill again. Keep this on the boss because it helps proc all of your extra arrows ( trifling wind,strombringer, etc.) 2. keep pinpoint and emerald up 100% of the time. both increase your ied and you will notice a dmg loss without them up 100%. 3. when in doubt always use 1 tornado vs 2 tornado. Wind Archers dmg uptime is so good that you will pretty much always have a tornado up most of the time. 4. -4sec hat is very useful but I wouldnt worry to much about it unless you are maining WA. Im still very new to WA but it has quickly become my favorite class in this game.

Two things come to mind that can help people who still aren't so fast at clearing: 1. The crystal drawing aggro trivializes phase 1 hellux but keeping the head turned towards it. It also keeps the aggro of chaos pierre, which is very useful for damage uptime. Keeps aggro of crimson queen as well, which is nice for her melee attacks, but not much else. It won't do much for von bon and can be detrimental with vellum's tail attacks becoming less predictable. 2. The dash, if properly timed, which isn't the easiest tbh, can negate the damage of chaos crimson queen burn, which can save you if you can't dispel the undead status while the burn keeps draining your hp. This is only relevant if you don't tank the breath to cleanse the flames with your barrier or are slow at killing the boss.

also, it says in the skill, for howling gale but holding up consumes 3 tornado energy, sending out 2 and holding down consumes 2 as 1 big tornado.

Agree. I play in reg server, the secondary is shared with with my NW and DW mule. I think these 3 classes are super broken lol.

Is there something that makes WA a significantly better 220 mule than something like marksman?

Couple of things on the Emerald. It applies a small defense debuff to the boss so its worth keeping it up, especially on mules where you are unlikely to have optimised IED. Also, if it's a mule, you might not be super comfortable with the movement, or how to use Barrier as a resource, so the aggro point is useful even if it only tanks a few hits per cast. Another small tip - it slows enemies quite significantly. The main use for the slow in the early game is that you can put Damien orbs in prison with it. You drag them to the corner, like at 7:19, and then face away from the wall and drop the Emerald. It can hold orbs in the corner for 20+ seconds which allows you to burst/DPS without worrying about the damage reduction. Great class, great vid.

Emerald flower is cracked in Lomien. You can use it to hold on to blue orbs in p2 Damien & Loctus will push it during p2 & P3. Super underrated

For Damien it seems better, but for lotus it kills it so fast so I feel like im constantly replacing it!

Make sure to use i think it’s called swarm shot it’s a 3rd job skill, it applies a debuff for 90 seconds that increases your damage on the boss

As a WA main u would possibly only need 2 perfect tri Song of Heaven, Trifling Wind, Storm bringer as ur bossing tri n Monsoon, Fairy Spiral, sentinent Arrow as ur mobbing. This is wat I hv been using from 200-250

cool video but should note that having an umbra with that flame + wse pot + ~8k + legion will make this stronger than / equivalent to most ppls 17* everything with absolab set

I did mention and say that I have a very good WSE. I also only have 12* gear. Wind archer is still amazing with absos if not stronger than mine if you have full 17*

Ouch, I can't even beat some of the CRA bosses with my 241 WA main using all the tips. That's for sure your legion, links, and WSE. Hyperburn leveling to 241 was great, but now I'll mob for a couple hours just to get 2% exp... The grind is too intense for me, might burn out =P EDIT: just noticed the details on all the gear XD carries/funding that most of us just don't have I think

Have you played it since the revamp? It feels quite solid to grind to 200 now, and the low cooldown V skills are wild for grinding post 200.

I know what you mean, out of all my chars, my WA lvls up the slowest. legit taking me 2.5 months to gain a lvl, all my other chars lvl up in hours to days. buff wa mobbing and bossing pls nexon
