Man erens relationship with ramsey really hit hard. The boy understood every word eren said once he saw the rumbling. I really cried when eren was begging for his forgiveness. When he admitted his selfish motivations for doing it. My heart was bleeding for eren in that moment. That was by far the most powerful moment I've ever witnessed in anime.

Someone mentioned this before but when hange died and she was reunited with the scouts. Mobilt the scout helped her back on her feet.. moblit saved hange a few seasons ago by pushing her into a well and died saving her. If you ask me that’s brilliant writing, even if moblit was a forgettable side character it’s dope they did that.

14:36 I mean at the beggining of season 4, we saw that anime-only scene where Falco was having a “vision” of flying around with a sword in the sky, which could hint to his future of becaming a flying creature. Not to mention how in episode 2 of the final season one of the generals asked if they had any titans with wings, which could have been a foreshadowment to this revelation.

This episode was amazing to me and had to be a colossal pain to animate and I can understand the wait for it. I'm sad my girl is gone but she went out in a blaze of glory, I was a little jarred going from her death to everyone welcoming her as well but found it bitter sweet as well. I mean canonically it was almost 4 1/2 years ago that this happened, and they were way more ignorant about the actual truth of the world than they are now. I think it’s evident Levi still holds resentment when everyone was waving goodbye to Annie and he just sat there, but I don’t think a conversation between them would have changed their relationship in anyway. Or even given closure given their two personalities.

they won't waste screentime/panels on that. as DevaVu said levi just sat there when everyone was waving goodbye to annie (that could be because hes not the social type, too) its not because it wasn't shown that it didn't really happen. but in the end, it,s a fictional story, so if it wasn't shown (through text or panels) than it never happened, maybe? than in real-life, does everything you don't know just don,t exist/happen? they don't exist/happen in your eyes, in your perspective, but in god's perspective? in the "true" perspective, they happen, right? when things aren't explicitly shown in fiction, you have to imagine that it happened eventually, not everythnig's gonna be shown to you, you have to use your imagination and interpret what could have happened

Eren went overboard just like how Marley nation went overboard responding to their trauma (having brainwashed Eldian children to create a mass genocide event on an island that was minding it’s business). There was no level headed leader to negotiate a reasonable compromise to the situation. They needed Erwin leadership skills for this although what do I know.. Eren apparently could see the start and finish to his life and everybody elses in his head with the power he had and had to fulfill the story already written in his head because he knew or thought it was the only outcome favorable for himself and friends.

I didn’t have any issue with Annie’s reveal - she’s always had little extra abilities - Zeke’s scream to control the pure titans, Reiner’s (or just “armour”) hardening ability, the crystallisation of the war hammer; it’s always been there but it finally got explained. And Falco being connected to Zeke was foreshadowed - why else would his Jaw titan be furry?

Did anyone notice in the latest attack on titan episode that there was a hint of something strange with Erens founding titan scene? Notice how right before the air ships bomb the founding titan they see a huge flash of light on the back of Erens titan spine. Then after they start dropping bombs on the founding titan you see another flash of light much smaller where the beast titan is formed. In the manga, there was only 1 bright flash of light at this point in the plot, but the anime shows 2. My question is what happened when that first flash of light occurred? That light usually means a titan transformation, yet we see no titan come from it.

The ability for titans to gain other titan abilities by ingesting spinal fluid comes all the way from season 2, and has been the norm ever since. Heck, in order to inherit the ability to transform you have to ingest spinal fluid. This isn't an asspull. It's a well established ability exclusive to Eldians. In fact, the hallucinogenia-looking thing that turned Ymir into the very first titan looked like a spine, and connected itself to Ymir's spine. Titan powers have always been connected to Eldian spines. Remember the tidbit about transferring your consciousness to your central nervous system aka spine to avoid death by decapitation?

Back when I was reading the manga I really thought Hange would be there until the end taking on the Founder with the Alliance. However, without Hange giving them the time they needed to fix the plane it would have had a bigger chance of failure. Although I do agree, they couldn't have tried to help Hange out just a little? I'm not sure if there were any long range weapons for them tbh but man, I do wonder.

Im disappointed they didn’t animate the scene where people were being forced off a cliff and some woman tosses her baby up in hopes the baby would survive and someone caught the baby and held it up and then the shot with the baby being held up and the titans in the background marching forward

I’m pretty sure they’re gonna include it in the next cour because since the baby scene in chapter 134 connects to 138 with the baby reappearing so they might just want to connect the sequences together within the same episode/special for better coherence. Also other notable scenes weren’t animated such as Historia’s pregnancy or the end part of Annie/Kiyomi and Falco/Gabi conversation so I’m sure they’re gonna be moved as well.
