Amazing historical recording .Erics simple way of drawing the music from a band.He often came to Chelmsford citadel when I was a young man & his simple explanation of how too get the best out of music was very inspiring.Thank you for uploading

It's so great to hear Eric Ball's comments to the musicians, what a gentle and thoughtful conductor. I was lucky to have a high school band director who exposed us to classic brass band pieces. Thanks to Bill for sharing this fine recording.
