The solo in this version of Layla is - in my view - is probably the best rendition of the solo he has ever played, it's not the best version of Layla played live overall, but the solo is outstanding. If someone could transplant this solo into the Live Aid version of Layla, it would make the Live Aid version just that little bit better.
