Nice to see him out. Retire at 70? Not eric! Despite his problems hes still soloing. Sure doyle does what he would done years back but it's still.a Clapton show you still get those flourishes. Just not as intense as he used to be able to do. Last show I saw was 2014 before his health issues really started affecting his playing. I knew then it would be my last Eric show but based on this might be tempted again.

@@Predacon176 Many were disappointed that it was only 1.5 hours. Tickets should of reflected the short show. We all love Clapton, but this sounded underwhelming. Eric has not recorded anything worthwhile in a few years. Santana (74), Robert Plant (73) & even Willie Nelson (88!!!) still sounding great & doing ''long'' concerts when Covid allows. ZZ Top is still kicking azz (minus youngster (72) Dusty Hill R.I.P. Sadly....We are losing the musicians of my generation, but thankfully we have the music. Get Vaxed/Mask Up.

Mr. Clapton like many others has had adverse reactions both of his covid jabs. The second has caused him to have (his words) excruciating pain in his fingers. It is only his love of music and his prior engagements. That you get to witness a 78-year young man play his heart out . Professional. Most definitely. A nuisance. Much more than that. As we get older we lose some speed . But if you had character you don't lose it you gain more. This dude's got some character.
