I love the me and Mr. Johnson album. In fact being a Mississippian, I know where Robert Johnson is buried. Likewise, Riding with the King is both pure Clapton and King. Clapton is without a doubt one of the great Blues men of our time.

It's a great Album,without any question. But Sessions for Robert J does it better in my opinion. The execution of the guitar parts is so much more sophisticated on this album.

It would have been so easy to make this sound exactly the same as the Robert Johnson Milkcow track from the tribute album but this goes in another direction with a different guitar and sounds just as brilliant. Long live EC!

@@denizoktay850 Now in 2020 I do not even need to say that, You failed. A lot. He is rocking like always, even better and faster now. He suffers from neuropathy, and he learned to cope with that shtttt and play guitar + vocals. He also have Tinnitus (a loud whisteling in ears - damage from beeing exposed to very high volume for a long time. Lots of musicians suffer from it. But it does not affect playing. He is more than fine. Weird, but it is a fact.
