Been Lost in the blues for over 55 years. Eric is the King! everyone else ( Beck, Clapton, Buddy Guy, Albrt Collins, Keb Mo etcetera ) as great as they are can't even come close to his gift or the gift he has given us with his Talent, taste, Love for the Music and Technique. Not to mention Funky Soul.

I think Hendrix can only be played on the left, but Muddy Waters and Jimi Page goes left .... You're so great. Thank you Eric and your fantastic band! So often I get sick of boring or bad blues and rock covers.

I don't think so. Hendrix build a unique style in rock and blues. Gales is one of the best guitar heroes along with Josh Smith, Greg Koch, Kirk Fletcher, Guy King and many others. 🎸

Looks like he really had to fight with those heavy gauge strings of the SRV-Strat in the beginning, but it finally suits him well! ***LOL*** Awesome player!

I'm a huge fan of his playing, and his live concerts are truly inspirational, but Eric needs to stretch out a little more. I've heard him riff on Back in Black, Kashmir, Don't Fear the Reaper, and Voodoo Chile surely a thousand times. For such a brilliant guy, he needs to push into some other stuff.

Son and I were hanging out with him in Memphis in 2008, my son was working on his first crude website. Sat night and we were just bar hopping on Beale Street, and dropped into the 151 Club I think it was, or maybe it was next to the 151. They had some good live music going and Eric knew some of them. We sat there a bit and they invited him on stage to play a few songs. He didn't have his guitar with him so he borrowed one and they launched into a 15 minute version of Superstition. Don't think he had ever played that song before but I could be wrong about that

That is a replica. Fun fact: According to Eric, back in 92 when the first three prototypes of the Fender made SRV strat came out at NAMM. They gave one to him while other copies went to Stevie's wife and to Jimmie Vaughan. *Note: SRV once played those prototypes at The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson Also, when the Vaughan brothers recorded their album in Memphis Ardent Studios, Eric and his band too were there recording. So when he heard Stevie is in the house, he jump to look for him and asked for an autograph, bec he is his idol. But Stevie and Jimmie already knew and heard who this mepmhis kid was. (Eric was just 16yo at that time) Stevie asked for EG's autograph as well. According to Eric that blew his mind. Then Stevie gave one of his hat and rings to him and they played Riviera Paradise on acoustic guitar.
