Ya, When creating something I think "I have no idea how to get the finish line" but you if you keep your head down and focus on just the next step one after the other you and finally get your head up to realize your there. Just take a deep breath and just break it down to bite sized pieces. I stole this idea from Adam Savage but its my experience too. He made a white travel guitar case for Mr. Idol

Eric Idle was the very first celebrity that I ever met. I had moved to Hollywood, and I was working at the front desk at Guitar Center Hollywood. I had already been told by one of my coworkers that Mr. Idle was a frequent shopper. I had been working about a week, and suddenly, in between customers, I heard a very distinct voice... It was Eric Idle. I just about lost my mind. I was a puddle of nervous goo. I watched as he left the building and walked away. I was disheartened and devastated. I thought I had lost my chance to just say, "Hey." Next thing I knew, he had come back through the entrance and was standing directly in front of me. I snapped and quickly blurted out, "Mr. Idle, I am such a big fan. Can I please shake your hand?" He looked right at me and extended his hand. "Thank you, thank you," he said as he shook my hand. I was flabbergasted and starstruck. That was all I needed. It's still one of my favorite celebrity encounters. It's in the top 5 just because of who he is. Right up there with Stevie Wonder actually seeing me. No, seriously. Stevie is not at all blind. I know from experience. Anyways, this was awesome, team Conan.

Mike Nicholls didn't stand up to Harry Warner because Harry was dead by then. It must have been Jack Warner who never gave into any artist demands which means that he agreed to filming in black and white because of other pressure, probably Taylor and Burton. Jack lost family members by being hard like that, Nichols would not have scared him even slightly.

It would be the last thing he would want. None of the Pythons would ever want a trinket from the royal family. John Cleese was offered a CBE in 1996 and then in 1999 was offered to become a member of the House of Lords, he turned it down flat. Eric is even more anti royal than John. Eric's comment about the new King Charles III in 2023 was "f**k kings".

People don't think things like Spamalot are miraculous and/or "just happened." They generally don't think of anything of that nature -- which is fine, because it's meant to be entertainment. When most people buy a car, including those in the entertainment industry, they don't think about all the work that went into the engineering, as well as the work hiring and training the human beings in the factory who build it, and what the workers do in the factory. There are others who aren't thought about: software designers for the car's system, people who've engineered and built the robotics that have replaced auto workers, and likely others who handle various functions I as a layman can't name.

He's losing his dignity reading these commercials. That's almost as bad as the terrible cliche of the writer who hates writing. There are not half as many writers who hate writing as writers that like to say so because they want to present themselves as artists giving up everything for their art which is the core cliche but then again: If I had come up with some of this material, I'd probably hate writing too. The irony is that in order to avoid looking conceited they come across much more so. Somebody who loves writing doesn't do that because he thinks he's so frigging great at it but he knows it's a process and doesn't lose time being self-conscious but instead focuses on the task at hand. If you worry about how good your writing is, you reveal two things about yourself: You doubt your talent and other than in Graham Greene's case there is usually a good reason for that and you're taking yourself way too seriously. The worst excess of that artist's cliche is people who say, after having published books, music or films for decades, they are never really satisfied. If that's the case, if they don't even like what they're doing, how dare they ask us for our time?
