Not bashing on Prydz, he is my favorite producer/DJ; but with this level of visual effects and lazor effects this set had to have been prerecordered. Right?

Its not pre-recorded. However, the visual techs know already what his set list is going to be, so they know what they are going to do as well. Big DJs perform at least 2 or 3 times a week. There are some that perform almost 6 nights a week. Because they don't have the time to come up with new and totally different sets, they usually they play the same exact set or almost the same exact set for at least a couple months. Some of them use the same set for like a year lol (not the really good ones). So the tech guys know ahead of time whats going to be played, when the build ups are, when there drops are.

There's 4 pairs of CDJs. 2 to play with, and the other 2 time synced with the first 2. These send a signal to the visuals booth. Eric might let them know via laptop what song will play next. And the booth will prep them and wait for the signal off of the 2nd pair of CDJs. Look up Armin van Buurnen's explanation of this on youtube.
