I disagree about Eric not enjoying his opponents suffering. As a long time fan of his stream and content - I can't tell you the number of times where he so nonchalantly expresses his desire to "crush their hopes and dreams" on the board. He's very zen like with his mannerisms and behavior but I feel confident in saying that he delights in crushing his opponents every bit as much as everyone else at his level.

@@jeltehoekstra2952 Sagar's out of practice and insanely busy, just being willing to give this a shot is enough. And he got to a lot of good positions, but speed chess is about conversions. Rosen/Rosman is going to be intense.

both know when u should do the best game in that limit time. if eric thinking and spending time like sagar maybe the position at the end wasnt a faver of sagar. He is good too but i think if he cant finish the game in that time, his opponent Eric is doing good job. i like the way of Eric to playing. make a good move and fast. He is so poker face and calm as well. good games, i enjoyed it a lot.

it's based on how much time they spend on the matches. the segment ends when the timer hits 45 minutes, and that's the last game

my guess why eric not play really good on 5min matches is because he's thinking too much...usually he split his thought process to his audiences so he's not in stress because the weight is splitted...
