Eric explaining that he left Ashley on Virmire because he accidentally entered a relationship with her made me laugh....because I did the same when my Femshep accidentally entered a relationship with Kaidan!

I also accidentally entered a relationship with Ashley and basically had to turn into a dick and yell at her before one of the last missions so I could escape it without killing her. The first game makes it way to easy to accidentally form a relationship lmao.

Because it locks you out of experiencing about half the combat system.

@@Souledex Not everyone has the same perspective. I went with soldier too for the exact same reason as Eric. As for me combat was a secondary part of the game and soldier still provided lots of new abilities.

Lets be real here, majority of people who played this when it first released were Soldiers. Then you go back and try out all the other classes. I've seen a lot of streamers pick Vanguard lately, and almost none of them grasp how biotic charge actually works.

@@StopReadingMyNameOrElse Even saying "almost none" is too generous. I've watched so many fucking playthroughs of these games and, somehow, even the people that grasp an understanding of biotic charge will then somehow ignore the fucking shotgun and use the pistol or submachinegun instead. That works if you have a handful of the pistols in the game that are absurdly powerful, but these people don't use those weapons. Its maddening. Then they complain about getting killed and shit because they don't realize the best survival tactic for a Vanguard is to just keep using charge to get your barriers back and use the shotgun to kill shit quickly when you do. Its one of the simplest playstyles in Mass Effect but brainrotted KZbinrs fail to grasp it every time.

Love these streams. Super looking forward watching Eric play the secomd game, Mass effect 1 is cool but the second one is even better! Anyway i appreiciate when people their archives from twitch, not everybody does that. edit: Honestly with how Edi talks here it feels like cut content because i dont think the lockdowns and monitoring devices set up ever paid off in any serious way, unless sim forgetting something feels like i do.

I think the locks are just connected to her being a "shackled" AI. She is able to speak freely after she's unshackled, to the extent that she knows anything that is. It makes sense though that she wouldn't know much about other cerberus cells considering cerberus is basically organized so only TIM has a full picture of the groups operations.

It drives me crazy that there is an "unofficial" channel that uploads these so much earlier. I doubt any of the Blind Wave crew are involved in that so it just seems very disloyal. I'd rather support their official channels, even if it means I must wait! (I can't watch many live streams due to my internet hating them, no matter who the streamer is.)

@@blitzgirl6522 Same. It's also pretty suspicious that the "unofficial" channel has to have such a similar name to this one. I unintentionally watched like part 1~4 of Aaron's TLoU playthrough on the unofficial channel before I realized my mistake. Also it makes me oddly happy to know I'm not the only one here whose internet absolutely HATES Twitch streams. Feels bad, but at least I know I'm not alone there.

It was his first play through. No one is perfect in their first play through. I played OG when it came out on release. I can promise you that I probably did the same thing, and missed a lot. My butt puckers at this when I see blind players too, but I have to remind myself that It's the first time and I wasn't perfect either. So many years later, there isn't a dialogue I don't know in this game or a secret. What I like about blind players is listening to them discuss what their head cannon is to the motivation to the characters.

@@thesaltygamer1204 This excuse becomes valid only if you don't have months of videos of people telling you constantly that you are skipping a fuckton of dialogue. To counter your anecdote, I didn't miss much if any of the dialogue on my first playthroughs because it was an extremely easy concept to grasp that left options investigated and right progressed or ended conversations.

Just because I have played VGs since 1990's, A new game with different mechanics can be intimidating until you get into it. I just started BG3 and even though I have been playing rpgs for well over 20 years, I still ended up restarting the game three times before I got used to the play. Not everyone slides into a game easily. I was watching Kim Ellendale (sp) play this series a while back I would get frustrated as you watching it. But she eventually became very much an outstanding player, as he does too.
