Nowadays, seems to be most men think that women will be offended if a man opens a car door for a woman. Some men will still open other doors, but car doors, they'll only "pretend" like their going to open the door for a lady, instead they check on their car. 🤦‍♀️These kind of gentleman back in Eric's day are a dying breed, sadly as chivalry is also. If a lady finds herself a man that gets the door for her, especially the car door, I'd say she's found the last of the gentleman, so she best show him a lil respect and appreciate him for she's a lucky girl. 😊
