I think the best thing that ever happened to me was putting money into both Kipkin metals and Arbor Metals corp. I watched them both go up 30-40% after I bought them and crash immediately after. As I was completely new to investing and speculating it was a harsh taste of reality on just how important due diligence is!! I am still very far from being experienced, but I have taken many things I have learned on this channel. Especially from guests like Rick Rule and I have worked at applying those lessons to the decisions I make. Thank you for your time and efforts in educating new investors from your many interviews!

Watched this episode over the last 3 days, some of it twice. In my research I cross correlate companies mentioned and just gave me a tick to buy into Omai. Crux investors did a good piece on Omai a few weeks ago. Long winded comments but thanks Antonio & Luc

I could write loads but the most salient points; Elaine is taking a similar approach as G2 Goldfields Dan Noone - quantifying the relatively shallow open pit gold to raise the IRR and entice a buyer. Both projects have higher grade at depth but doesn’t effect the NPV as much as the shallow stuff as that’s years down the road. Funded for a couple of years. A good jurisdiction “at this time” and management with a track record of “done it before” With G mining, Anglo Ashanti et al with interests in Guiana hopefully some rivalry and bidding tension. PS just went back through your video back log and found your interview with Elaine- very good she answered the questions well in my opinion.

Great analysis of recent moves by Sprott into Silver stocks - how about doing a similar analysis of the PM companies that Crescat Capital has been investing in? I think that would be very interesting to watch....

Thank you for watching, Simon! Just to clarify, though; this wasn't an analysis of the individual holdings Eric is in, it was mostly a note on him starting to bet on silver. Crescat has a bottom-up approach, as far as I know. They pick the asset first, and the commodity matters less than (it appears) for Eric Sprott.

I suppose it's getting into those private placements? The is if you assume they're always good deals - which can't be true of course, as not all deals are great.
