@chickenman3312 ай бұрын
@@justXsmokeXtrees his contemporaries certainly did not think he was insane, many of his contributions to electrical engineering and electromagnetism are both taught and utilized on a daily basis. some of his ideas were either not feasible, or possible; which is not a stain on his legacy. plenty of scientists and engineers come up with ideas that aren't feasible, that doesn't discredit their hard work or ingenuity; its simply human.
@galvanaut71192 ай бұрын
@@justXsmokeXtrees No. That's not in any way what happened. He was hailed and revered. Westinghouse paid him to use his patents and they had a cooperative relationship developing many of the items you use today. Tesla felt bad for Westinghouse when they fell on hard financial times and he gave many of his patents to them... willingly... just to be a nice guy. Westinghouse made sure he had a home and food for the rest of his life.. just to be nice too.
@justXsmokeXtrees2 ай бұрын
@galvanaut7119 semi true, but the government came in as well to take away his designs. His patents would have affected the multi-billion dollar electricity company and iol industry if they weren't taken away! It's all about money in this industry. Whatever makes money, money is LAW.
@justXsmokeXtrees2 ай бұрын
@chickenman331 yet many of his patents were taken by the government and stored away. If his patents were to come out, it would affect the multi-billion companies' electricity and gas! Money is king in our world, sadly. Same that happened to a man in the 90s who found out how to make a hydrogen powered car. A day before he was about to sign a major car manufacturing contract, he suddenly died from a "heart attack".

Rectangular boxes are easy for people to carry because we have two hands not three, and spheres roll off tables. The quickest way to split something up into equal portions is to cut end to end, through the center, which will result in triangles. I will talk pizza engineering all day with you my brotha.

@joshuakuhowski3 ай бұрын
Here’s what’s not talked about, and don’t forget that Terrance is an actor. It’s weird he wouldn’t use some easy terms. The seed of life is the simplest construction of bubbles that they argue about magnetism and electricity over. It can be expanded throughout space, and using the planar drawing of the seed of life or the tree of life gave way to Greek geometry and I’m sure geometry that predated the Greeks. The compass and straightedge of the masons guards this secret, and the plumb describes the levelness of an object. They really stomp out Terrance, but it also feels like he lets them stomp him out. They’re trying to sweep this knowledge under the rug. Everything comes from the connections between all of us in the net of Indra and we are atomic in nature, so each of our cells, or each of our personal bubbles in the supercell created by infinitely connecting cells is mirrored by the supercell nature of our organization as life on this planet. Look at the geometry of soil. It’s all just shapes, but how tf are all the shapes straight lines. A sphere for a canon is not a mathematician’s sphere, but it touches an acceptable amount of points on a spherical radius. Maybe the icosohedron is not the rights shape to form a regulation sphere. But would you pass a sphere that clears 100 points rather than 20. What about a billion points? Somewhere a distinction is made to accept the shape as a sphere. Finally, if you’ve made it to the end of this chapter, if it is so simple to construct these basic connections into historical solids, why do we only have 5 shapes. Just the model on the seed of life drawing proves three dimensional shapes of an unpublicized magnitude can be obtained by the average person. And yet we’re taught the names of a few shapes and not the building blocks to get utilize them.
@joshuam49933 ай бұрын
Terrance is wrong about platonic solids. He says they don't fit into each other. Check out Frank Chester, he shows it to you plainly. They do. Flat our, even to metaphysical geniuses. Terrance is wrong. This whole freaking clip could be summarized that Terrance uses fancy terms to explain actually something very simple (flower of life) that have nothing to do with the actual term. Terrance shouldn't use the term super symmetry to sound smarter than he is without actually knowing what it means.

@@Mediazzzzzz If we are wrong we will unfortunately never know it. Because Terrence is an absolute 0 when it comes to communication skills. And we does not have the patience, humility or interest to learn the necessary skills to communicate. Even if claims he wants to. I know this for a fact. Because I heard the whole 4 hours while I was working in the office. Every time Eric tries to tackle and hint that he needs to slow down, sit down, and actually learn things, he completely dismisses it and tries to go back to his nonsensical explanations to try to justify how right he is. He didn't hear anything Eric has said. So whatever great genius that is in his head (there isn't) will unfortunately die with him.
@scooterjackal3 ай бұрын
@@Thomas-vd7ez well said. He does have a fantastical mind that tries to piece unrelated concepts with similar words into one concept without any actually reason or evidence. Weinstein pretty much said this towards the end of this video extract. He also has a giant ego that gets in the way of actually communicating his ideas out properly. Also If he wasn’t a celebrity or had no money he would be absolutely nowhere.

@@Mediazzzzzz If you actually think for a second, we today actually have no clue.... people will look back on this and say Terrance Howard was probably closer to the truth than anyone alive today! Yea, some of his ideals may sound crazy, but if you can detach yourself from perceived reality to entertain his idea's, you will actually find he isn't as crazy as he may sound. I don't think he's actually had a chance to explain something all the way through before someone derails it with a new question that requires starting over from a different reference point. You gotta let him get to the bottom of one thing so you can find out if he's working with legitimate fundamentals. Otherwise you'll end up scratching the surface forever and never know if there's any real substance there. There's a chance he's actually brilliant even if he's using traditional terminology in his own way. Or he might be using it correctly but people are failing to see the connection because he's thinking about it in an unfamiliar way. But also, part of making useful contributions (and legitimizing yourself) is being able to explain your work in a way that people will understand. He needs to start from the bottom and work his way up to his discoveries rather than coming out swinging with the discoveries and then trying to demonstrate the reasoning and never getting there.
