I heard the last episode and he was too much of the "stereotypical ignorant (to the rest of the world) American". No offense! Of course it's a good thing that he's curious and in fact isn't ignorant at all! And going to the jungle is not a nice vacation. But still... didn't he read any books before? It's like he didn't know a single thing before taking his first trip. To exaggerate a little: It came across as he was surprised the people didn't speak English. He reported like a little child going to Disney World. I liked what I saw here. I'll give him another shot. Well, let's see how it went this time. Oh! What's his background again? How did he get Joe's attention first and is he just doing private trips, or podcasting about it? I'd thank you for an answer but I guess I'm gonna listen to it too.

Telling him he would live on sites after laying down all the good stuff and money and blah blah first class there and back. They said oh and you will have paid military contractors. You don’t have to worry about paying for them. They will keep you safe and help you navigate the rainforest. They told him to watch out for tribes that have guns, and tribes with bows and arrows and darts. Before he agreed he googled about it and said absolutely not. Why didn they just go back to the jungle ??? Its 70 miles . But come on thats like a weeks hike in the jungle.
@federicoguinand9451Ай бұрын
The thing is it’s not really about time, it’s about how hard it is to cross the Amazon jungle for such a period of time without dying. Plus I bet it’s a lot more than a week, it’s not like there is a defined trail to go back, you have to make your own way.
@wannaBtraceurАй бұрын
If it were possible, I'm sure they would've made the trip. I imagine its so incredibly dense with vegetation and fauna, that the going is incredibly slow and you'd die of something in the meantime. So terrible because the guest said some have kids with them and they're starving.

Not just.. i imagine they did in a week by foot and boat possibly more then what the tribe covers in years, it probably even exceeds their territory. Like 70 miles of dense jungle is crazy

Also it’s so easy to get lost in the Amazon especially if the trees are as tall as a building you can’t really see shit you’d need a compass or get to a mountain top to see

It is very difficult to help people who do not speak the language. I have experienced it myself a few times. If you do not speak English or Spanish it is very difficult to help a person in need. I feel so, sorry for those people God help them all. Thank you for the reporting.
