Thank you! The db-01 seemed so attractive, I just got a reality check.

Well, it only really has one sound and it is interesting for about 10 minutes, but I get better results using VST bass synths that are infinitely changeable if you change your mind about the sound in the future because VST synths take their feed off midi notes.

There actually is a volume feature. It took me a while to find it too. Just hold the shift and octave button which will open up configuration settings. Then push the play mode button which will allow you to adjust the volume.

Nice tip. Still only gets you part way there though. A physical volume control is an absolute must for a device like this - in my opinion.
