You're absolutely right about the knobs-they completely kill the motivation to experiment with this synth. Do you have any suggestions for a more a fun synth with better knobs?

Hi! In the same price range? I like the Neutron knobs better actually. Really, anything that’s larger in diameter helps. I’m just really anti-mini-pots, so I even have similar gripes with some of the new Moog semi-modular stuff. The whole point of these synths (over just using VSTs) is to have tactile control. Knobs should be a primary design factor, not an afterthought or a place to cut corners. Just my $0.02! Thanks!

You simply can patch the filter to serial. Put filter1 out to filter2 in or vice versa.

Thanks @dirkmoller5537, yes that would definitely work! But I should have elaborated more because the way the spec literature is written makes me think there is an internal setting to make the change. The manual is very vague on this. So is it just normalled parallel and can only be made serial via patchbay? Why didn’t they just say that? 😅

It's the Korg NTS-2 (www.korg.com/us/products/dj/nts_2/). I want to try the Mordax and see if it's better or not. Refresh rate on Korg is not as smooth/fast as I would like it to be. Thanks, I appreciate you stopping by!
