aww i love that harry has both romeo and marnie in his corner. it's what he deserves. also loved the marnie/james moments. involving ste in the sadie plot is.. a weird choice but i guess at least it moves things forward.

In your dreams, perhaps. In the real world all James has is someone close to Harry claiming to have paid her off, so she would leave. But Liam having borrowed the money from dodgy mates of his, there would not exist a traceable link between the money and Liam, like it would if he had taken them from his own account, or borrowed them in a bank. Nor does James have any means to prove Liam to have been inside the car at all. So the truth of the matter is, he hasn`t got anything at all. But James being the most useless tv lawyer in historym that is hardly surprising. Had James had any skills as a defense attorney at all, Harry would have been free of suspicion months ago. Cause James would have made sure the CCTV footage from the bus Harry took to town after he discovered his car had been stolen, had been recovered by the police. The police would have discovered Harry had been truthful about taking the bus, and since the car with his phone was ahead of the bus - which could be read from comparing the footage from the bus Harry was on with the times his phone, inside the car, connected to the various mobile phone base stations along the route the car took - that footage and those connection times for Harry`s phone would have proved Harry and his phone had not made that journey together. Proving someone else had to have been behind the wheel of the car that day, and that just because Harry`s phone was in the car when the car hit Grace, it far from proved Harry to have been there - only that his car had. Add to that Breda could have testified Harry told her both that his car was missing, and that he went to take the bus, it would emerge that not only had Harry`s car been stole/taken without permission, but it had been so prior to Grace being run down too. This James should have been able to discover simply by asking Harry if he had talked to someone after he discovered his car was missing, Harry would have told him about Breda - and then either that he left to catch a bus, or James would have learned that when interviewing Breda, and she told him the conversation between her and Harry stopped cause he went to catch a bus. As a lawyer James is completely useless, and pathetically bad. More working outside the law, than within it - and being completely incapable of interpreting even the most simple pieces of evidence. Incompetence just begin to describe what a dreadful lawyer he is being written as. Had this been a medical storyline, Dr James would have diagnosed some poor patient with a blind knee or a limp lung, that is the level of competence he displays as a lawyer. It is quite frankly beyond the joke, and I am worried so many, like yourself, seems to believe James is being smart, when all he has done is stumble over something he is not even able to prove, and he frankly only has Sadie`s word for anyway. As evidence it is of little importance - unless Sadie should report Liam for witness intimidation, and Liam would be held on remand as a consequence. And because of this again, Liam`s DNA could be obtained, and linked to findings inside the car - a car he officially should not have had access to. So if DNA should place him inside that car, he would be in trouble - and seem a more likely suspect than Harry. But as evidence, to avoid Harry from being wrongfully convicted, CCTV or witnesses placing Harry on the bus, proving he could not have been driving the car at the same time, would have been both the best and quickest way to get Harry checked out of the case, and freed from suspicion. That James has not realized as much a long time ago, makes him a very poor lawyer indeed. Practically brainless, I would say.

I'm going to start watching again if Starry are getting back together! I used to love them, then I kinda shipped Jarry, but Starry have always had more chemistry as actors IMO!! I can't believe jarry fans keep talking about how the couple are so perfect. James keeps thinking the worst of harry and has so little trust in him that he tracks his phone. If people are willing to forget that james was pimping him out before then fine but if they can't see how many flaws their are on their favourite ship then that's on them. Harry is only a few years older than romeo so that is disturbing. You don't have to be a starry fan but you can't deny that ste has a good heart. He even got james out of prison because it was the right thing to do and jarry fans keep talking about how evil ste is.

There's jealousy and there's this version. James and harry is toxic and with the huge age gap it's like he's chasing a child. Especially when Harry is only a few years older than his son.It's creepy how controlling james is. Plus, around the time he and james first met, james offered thousands to sleep with harry so he started soliciting from the start and If people can't see how disturbing that is then that's on them. If this is love to them then they should end it with james focusing on romeo and harry should find someone more trusting. A relationship like this has no future.
